Re:

And have you tried what I was suggesting?
Netinstall? In fact I used netinstall to go up to 4.10 fom 3.30 (I had an "upgradable-to: 3.x" limit). Then I upgraded to 6.32 from the Webfig interface. I'll try tomorrow.

Re: Can I somehow unify the way in which my RBs appear in a web browser?

It is not a problem with the browser. I have tried different computers, also different IP addresses assigned to routers.

I'm using Linux for work. Winbox means, that I need to use Wine. It works, I know, but is not that comfortable. For me, at least. Anyway, thanks for your post.

You can add a firewall rule to block access to port 80 from the global network. By the way, it is best to assume the deny, allow policy so deny everything unless you really need it.

Can I somehow unify the way in which my RBs appear in a web browser?

Hello. I have 3 different RBs: RB750GL, RB450G and RB532. Now after a short fight with 532, they all run almost the same software (750 and 450 run 6.34.3 while 532 runs 6.32.4). The thing is, that the index.html page on each of them looks compleltly different. For 750 and 450 it is not a problem, bu...

Thanks for response. I tried the "Update License" key, but it did not change the "updatable-to" field. It was on 2.59 version. Then I updated to 3.30 (even later to 4.0rc1) but the key does not work anymore. It only results in "License is already updated" message. [edit...

Can I somehow instal a newer OS then 4.0rc1 on my RB532?

Hello. For educational purposes I have bought a second-hand RB532 (the note on the board says, that it is v5). I'm tying to update its system as high as possible. I have ound in the Iinternet, that even the latest versions should work. Unfortunatelly... My system now says: [admin@RB532] > /system li...

Have you checked the processor load during transfer on both ends? In my case (EoIP via PPTP tunel between RB450G and RB750GL on the network with 30/3 bandwidth on the narrow side) I am able to obtain full bandwidth (30MBit) but under almost 100% processor load on Mikrotik. If I remove EoIP and just ...

Re: Work temperature for RB450G

After I downclocked the CPU to 400MHz, the temperature dropped to around 92C. Then I put the router in an "almost-vertical-way", so that the warm air from inside could hover and leave the router via the holes in the housing. Now I have: [admin@MikroTik] > /system health print voltage: 11.9...

Re: RB 450G is hot?

I know that the topic is old, but... What would you say about this?: [admin@MikroTik] > /system health print voltage: 24.4V temperature: 102C I have replaced the 28V/1A PSU with 12V/1A and downclocked the CPU, but it's still not good: [admin@MikroTik] /system> health print voltage: 11.8V temperature...

Re: Work temperature for RB450G

Thanks... I've changed the PSU to 12V/1A, but the temperature keeps growing:
      voltage: 11.7V
  temperature: 63C
I don't like it...

By the way, I have found an older topic on this subject. I'll try to wake it up.

Work temperature for RB450G

Hello. I have RB450G as a outer for my home network. It works pretty well, but I'm affraid, that it is a bit too hot. Right now I have around 25C at home. The RB housing is around 45C. Throughput of OpenVPN tunel

Hello. I'm new here, but I hope to find some help. I have two networks , one with RB450G (let's call int Net1), another with RB750GL (let's call it Net2). Net1 is conected to the Internet with an assymetic 30/3 Mbit link. Net2 is connected via a symmetric 2Gbit link, which is higher than RB's perfor...

Akward forwarding - can I set it up somehow?

I have a RB 750 box, which works very well. Curently I have such setup: internal network (host A and laptop B) <--------> RB750 <-----> Internet I have a public address assigned (let's name it xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx), which is assigned to RB750. The internal network uses 10.0.0.0/24 adderess range, in part...
