Re: HotSpot problems

Hi jarosoup

Yes, I'm afraid the problem is caused when DNS have a problem. Because that symptom appear when you do not configure the DNS...

I'll keep on testing,

Thanks!

Re: HotSpot problems

Hi omega, thanks for the reply.

I'm not using SSL, just use HTTP-CHAP, so it seems like Hot Spot service crash or something like that.

I'm think the second problem could be something strange in the navigator the client is using.

Okey, it do not work. =( - Create two 'ip hotspot user profiles', one for normal user and second for one-page allowed users. I do it, but how can assignate a profile to a specific user via radius? - Specify 'Incoming Filter' and 'Outgoing Filter' for second groups. I do it, but also I reply with rad...

allright, I'll going to try that, because I do not find the actual problem...

When I have a result, I'll post back.

Thanks Normis!

Overclocking failure

Hi, I have a RB532 with a daughterboard RB564. The issue is that I have overclocked it, from 264MHz to 330MHz. After that I keep the frequency and upload the rb500-2.9.39 mikrotik version to the board (it had the rb500-2.9.38 ) When I finished that, I run "/system shutdown" and then I plug...

no, because RB500 doesn`t have x86 architecture, so it won`t work properly.

As cibernet said, you have to use "export" command, mostly I use "export file filename", if you do that, MT place a file in the disk with the complete configuration, so you could download it entering via FTP to the RB. (I think this way is more secure than copy an paste the expor...

It`s a very strange problem. But I thing that you should check your power supply, I bet that it`s the main cause which produces you that problem. In the WISP where I work, recently we have a very similar situation. We have a RB532 (MT 2.9.18 ) with the daughtboard and on it we put two 400mW 2,4GHz c...
