Forward/Input Queue

Hello All,

Please I need to know how to make my simple queues afect only my forward chain.

I notice that queue afects all activities on the network including the the input chain processes: that is it also affect local bandwidth, across the LAN.

Quite Simple,

All you do is do a dst-nat.

From source address and port 80, redirect all back to IP address wanted.

All settings could be found on winbox Firewall NAT.

Let me know if you still have issues with this, then I can give you adequate command.

I want to believe you are not a newbie.

Ok friend,

I had same problm earlier.

Simple, check under your host from the hotspot section, and try to detect the interface you do not want affected by your hotspot. Once detected, do an IP binding to same IP, and mac., the do a Bypass.

I'm sure this should solve your problems.

bind ip address with mac address??

I need a little info on exactly what you run on your router. I hae a hotspot implemented on my router and from the IP binding I can do an IP-Mac binding. Secondly, you can use static ARP. Third, if you have a DHCP server running, then you can also do static binding too. Give me an insight into what ...

Web Cache

I updated my router OS to version 9.27, and my web cache feature just wouldn't work anymore.

I've done all I could but the router is not processing hits from clients anymore.

FreeRadius

Does anyone have an Idea on how I can do a little bit of user uptime accounting and have MT disable clients automatically when they get to their limits?

Better still is there any AAA software outside freeradius? I'm not a linux person.
