So Im posting this for others that might run into this problem. Actually fixed this by downgrading to v5.2. Seems there's a bug somewhere between 5.2 and 5.16. I didnt waste time trying to narrow it down, as ive spend two long days trying to figure out the problem...lol hope this helps someone save ...
