Please, check if Norton DNS's are working properly for you, because at my location Norton ConnectSafe DNS is not filtering anymore. I've found it out accidentally few days ago and it is still not filtering today, so I guess it is not temporary. Now, I have changed my DNS to OpenDNS FamilyShield name...

You can use free DNS that does not require public IP. Generally routers are not designed to be turned on and off every day. Also, it does consume so small amount of power that there is no reason to do that. If you want you can write script that turns off LCD when you are not using router.

Re: Dual band AP for home use, SSID same or different?

I'd prefer separate for the reasons of separating slow devices from fast devices. As you know, slow devices can slow down the whole SSID for everyone. Slow devices usually support only 2.4GHz band so they don't see 5GHz at all and they try to connect to 2.4GHz only. Newer devices that support both ...

adding new-line at the end of aut.rsc script should be enough. At least in my tests it did execute.
Is it a official fix? Are you not going to fix the bug in firmware?

@payday, You can achieve similar functionality using a script or Netwatch and setting /lcd enabled=yes or no It is not gonna work this way because after /lcd enabled=no and later /lcd enabled=yes LCD shows menu and I have to touch it to see graph again. Before you use metarouter you should read this topic:

I guess we have to wait until MetaROUTER is stable enough to be usable.

Now, when I turn my computer on (computer is connected to ether4) LCD backlight turns on, also. When I turn off my computer, LCD also goes off.
