My terminal doesn't work in Webfig. It shows just an empty space.
Can you please check if it is me only or you also have that problem?
You can force users to use specific DNS.To filter, instead, generic porn
I think he is stuck at WAN renaming...
Replace WAN with name of your WAN interface in parameter out-interace=WAN.expected end of command (line 1 column 86)
this shown , nothing happend
/ip firewall filter
add chain=forward action=drop dst-port=80 protocol=tcp place-before=0 content=".mp4" out-interace=WAN
... and dualband, dualradio businessAPAnd a lot of people still waiting for dualband homeAP as rb951G
Thanks
Take price of any competitor device with same specification, divide by 5 and you have a price point.Any idea of a price point for the CCR1072??
Did you try this? :Is there anyway to disable the reset button on side of RBmAP2n to prevent end users from 'easily' erasing settings?
/system routerboard settings> set enable-jumper-reset=no
Why 30? Use 4 APs. You will have about 25 users per AP (theoretically). How much access point ? about 30 ? in area of 150meters?Using more then one Access Point is not an option?
Open folder %appdata%\mikrotik\winbox and delete subfolder 6.18-*Hello,
Just upgraded to 6.18 ver my rb2011, no i can`t connect by winbox ...
Regards,
Everything is OK when they are trying and asking, not forcing. This is problem of Windows 8 and Server 2012 users.Microsoft is only trying to make things more secure. It is not that much of an ask for things talking to Windows to make sure the requests are signed.
SMB in MikroTik works with every device in the world (including Windows 7, XP, Android, Linux, iOS). Only system that does NOT work is Windows 8.1 update 1!The issue is with MikroTiks implementation of SMB.
Thanks!What's new in 6.16 (2014-Jul-17 13:12):
*) smb - fixed usb share issues after reboot
There are comments in Registration Table. Thank You!We will try to add support for this.In WinBox and WebFig: Registration Table does not show comments from Access List.
/queue simple
add name="Excluded" target=192.168.80.240/32 place-before=0 queue=default-small/default-small limit-at=0/0 max-limit=10M/10M total-queue=default
Now, we have it all clarified. As long as you clarify in comments or whatever that the script requires 6.2 at minimum, I think everyone using it will be all right .RouterOS 6.2 was released one year ago. I guess it is safe to assume that nobody uses it anymore.
802.11ac is 5GHz only. At the moment most devices are using 2GHz N. So, 802.11ac in Access Point makes sense only if it is dual-band with two radios: 5GHz AC + 2GHz N.mAP should be 802.11ac, otherwise waiting doesn't pay off, no?
When?and the new mAP will.
I agree, but there are some limitations to this approach. As I see, best way is to use separate ip network for VPN clients and use routes instead of use proxy-arp, isn't it?
Thank Youthe bug is filed anyway.
Good idea. For workaround, make one script than change name and revert back...Again, after reboot my share usb (set to /usb1) was inaccessible. I changed it's name and now it works fine. So, this seams to happen after reboot. Tested on two RB2011UAS-2HnD.
It is already implemented but they forgot to write about it in the manual.Any idea when? It's not in 6.14 jet...
Maybe 6.15?
Read changelog:I can't seem to find the "wireless-fp" package - am I missing something here?
...also is it me or when I use netinstall to reflash a unit there's an extra package called "routeros"??
After changing share name I can map drive AND connect directly. At the moment it works fine. I will wait until it stops working again and post here.do, you cannot map network drive letter to samba share provided by RouterOS, but opened directly it works?
So, start selling it, please! What are You waiting for?!?we have not started to sell the mAP yet.
I can't wait for this too... I would like to test mAP with CAPsMAN.Any news about mAP?
In V5 everything was fixed in 5.26, so in V6 we are not even in half way....The entirety of V6 seems to be botched with no end in sight.
For me everything is working perfect! Thank You!!! Build 36088 is now my gold standard.Enjoy!
And availability? Why is mAP still without price?
March? Which year? Where is this newsletter? What is the device at the bottom right of the last page of the March newsletter with 3 RP-SMA connectors?
In case you don't know it has been announced, already:We hope that , and we need mikrotik wireless controller
Works, very well!Does it work in rb2011 with ros 6.9 or 6.10?
Only when used with numbers! : But if you use it with strings it works different: Source: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Sc ... #Operators~ are for bit inversion
:put [/ip route find dst-address=0.0.0.0/0 !routing-mark~""]
Nice! I can't wait for this device!special mAP feature, it stores the packages in RAM during upgrade.
And price?Any ETA? 2014?
And I bet we will see it tomorrow. With v7 or without it.I bet we won't see it until V7.
Will you make your presentation available online (after MUM)?I will have a presentation on the next MUM (in 2 days), showing how easy it is .Any progress?
I vote for WLC!Which one would you prefer ?Or finishing off Wireless ControllerRealy good news! You've to clean code while integrating .ac
You are right. Excuse me. Next time I will do it....you didn't quote it in your response...
You are funny, NathanWhat Openwrt images and repo are you using out of interest?
/lcd backlight state=on
This is great idea but at the moment account cannot be created there. Captcha is not working. There's another bug list here: http://bugs.mikrotik-routeros.com/view_all_bug_page.php. I don't know how active it is though...
No. It's just an example (found on internet) to show differences in performance. There are a lot of sites comparing those algorithms. When @LogicalNZ will post his results we will have answear to your question. That table belongs to the performance of some routerboard model?
./proc/*
./sys/*
./tmp/*
+1But I do very much wish they would put a "Known bugs" (including introduced bugs) list somewhere on the website or appended to that releases changelog. It would save a lot of grief.
I have noticed the same behavior on RB2011UAS.Hello All.
RB2011Ls, ROS 6.4
Ethernet1 is "Master", ether2 & ether3 are setup as slave.
Then I put comment to ehter1 then ether2& and ether3 resets.
Could anybody confirm this ?
6. Central AP controller building into ROS
+1- Wireless LAN controller ROS feature, with environment monitoring (it would be super if the controlled multiple APs could collaborate in getting max throughput from/to clients, and self-arrange frequencies)
It is safer to set allowed networks then leave it open. Everyone has his own level of security. I don't know what is yours. Best security is to disconnet all cables.Yes I have done this and this should help with network security?
I cannot answer in private message so I post answer here.In the CPE's script config i must first enable port21 as it is disabled - then I want to update NTP client - then disable port21 - afterwards?
Thanks for great info. I can't wait to test it myself. Today, in the evening I will test v6.0rc14.RB2011withv5.25rc1 works 2 days without Metarouter issue. Starting to test RB450G using v5.25rc1.
I can't test it until friday, so I am waiting for your reports.Wooooow!!!
I will test right now and report here back.
Thank You very much.*) lcd - added option for turning backlight on/off;
Is it a official fix? Are you not going to fix the bug in firmware?adding new-line at the end of aut.rsc script should be enough. At least in my tests it did execute.
Are you going to fix it? Are you trying at all?We are aware of these problems
Install v6.0rc6.LEDs to flash/blink <- Only thing I want...
/lcd set backlight-timeout=never /system leds set 0 type=interface-status interface=ether4 leds=lcdNow, when I turn my computer on (computer is connected to ether4) LCD backlight turns on, also. When I turn off my computer, LCD also goes off.
Internal only. But you use an external antena or only the internal antennas of the device ?
I think exactly the same.... but I'll be darned that it bugs me the led's dont flash! Call me weird but when I see a piece of networking gear without blinking lights, it automatically makes me think something isn't working..
