VLAN Newbie :)

Hi, Im having three VLANs on my RB951, VLAN20, 30 and 40. Gave them an IP, and setup the DHCP. Tested it with my realtek Ethernet Diagnostic Util on my Laptop, and got the right IP-adresses. Now i want to use my RB260 to connect port 1 to my RB951 with all the VLAN tags, and config my SwOS an such a...

Re: Loadbalance or other option?

Look closely at these two rules from config you posted: /ip firewall mangle add action=mark-connection chain=prerouting connection-mark=no-mark in-interface=ISP2 new-connection-mark=ISP1_conn add action=mark-connection chain=prerouting connection-mark=no-mark in-interface=ISP1 new-connection-mark=I...

Re: Loadbalance or other option?

Yes, order of rules is very important, because it's how they are processed. You can move some without causing any problems, but not others. For example in mangle table, you need to mark connections first and then mark routing for them. Swap these rules and it won't work. It's always best to underst...

Re: Loadbalance or other option?

It looks like you only read first sentence of my answer. Try the other one too. ;) I.e. do not use these rules for load balancing: /ip firewall mangle add action=mark-connection chain=prerouting connection-mark=no-mark dst-address-type=!local in-interface=bridge-local \ new-connection-mark=ISP2_con...

Re: Loadbalance or other option?

Working solution would be to start with normal load balancing configuration (as described e.g. here ). But instead of two PCC rules use static ones: /ip firewall mangle add chain=prerouting in-interface=LAN connection-mark=no-mark dst-address-type=!local \ action=mark-connection new-connection-mark...

Manage Wireless Bridge in front of Router

Hello, Considering following, my Router gets a WAN address by DHCP from my Cable modem on Eth1. But instead of a Cat5 cable, my Cablemodem and Router are connected over a wireless link consisting of two SXTs in Bridgemodus. See: http://i.imgur.com/FQc72rl.png In this setup, i cant see the SXTs from ...

Re: HTTP Post Create User

Unfortunately in your scenario it requires a External Server. I can't provide an External Server (various reasons). So im looking for a out of the box (Routerboard) solution. So my thought, when the usermanager can do it, it must be possible. The usermanager is a "kind of" WebApplication r...

I cant imagine that i cant build an Selfregister html site (without payment!) which creates a usermanager (Radius) ...

There is one more difference what can explain the Price diff: Level4OS at the RB951 and Level5OS at the RB2011uas.

edit: the RB951 is 1000mW also!

Re: Result: PayPal - bad http response

Solved the problem.

I've set up 3 customers, 1 Admin, 1 Office and 1 Paypal.
The paypal account is an admin/owner, but the paypal customer had to inherit the paymentgateway of the admin.
(Altough the Paypal customer is not an child of admin....?)
