I set to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 but when i login system see, it auto set to another range ip which is not set by me..
I have few site facing these issue recently..
I should link my master port to core switches?Your settings make bridging not switching. If you want to switch ports you should set one of ports as master to other ports.
Disable cookies in ip/hotspot/server or server profile. Tell me if it's fixed please.
actually i am not using any radius server, i use mikrotik, and not using userman, i create at IP>Hotspot>user there only...What radius server are you using?
in every rule?Change ttl in mangle rule to 1

but in my router, i cannot find this..It supports ipsec, and l2tp. I'd personally use l2tp over ipsec

And what methods does it support?
add in this feature in next update? XDNo, RouterOS doesn't have such feature at the moment.
The power between 8-30V all can it is?Yes it can

Check if you have some kind of logging to disk. I just don't know what else could be producing that...
I used RB1100AH x2. The same problem.
Does anyone have any advice for this problem.
Here my config
dolaivan
Can email me at tpwifi.tech@gmail.com?All of your configuration possible in one Router Board.
I am using 2 CCR for my network, one is radius, one is hotspot..i m using hotspot & radius, but not facing such issue yet
i had increase, but still happened..Increase the timeout value on your mikrotik-embedded radius client ; i personnally found that the defaut value is way too low, i have put it to 3000ms and i now have no more problems.
why don't mikrotik active it?nobody has it
for all the member or my account only?Because it is disabled.
at another router. Is user manager in the same router, or is it remote?
at hotspot there?add to ip-binding all mac for ubiquiti devices.
Thanks, it worksLogin to Userman after you restoredthe database to the new router
then as I described earlier.....

ok:)The physical port is not going to be the limiting factor. The cpu is more likely the limiting factor, depending on how much traffic you expect to be going through the router and how many filter rules and queues you have.
you mean during backup?Hi!
Have you tried to remove the active sessions(xx A Sessions) in USERMAN?
Mark the sessions and "Close" under "Edit" menu

The config is retained between versions, just drop the file into the root directory and reboot the device.
Reboot from /system reboot, don't just repower as the upgrade is done before the router reboots, not as it powers up.
/interface bridgepost your export from routerOS.
add l2mtu=1590 name=bridge-hotspot
/ip hotspot profile
add dns-name=tpwifi.login hotspot-address=172.16.0.1 http-cookie-lifetime=1d \
login-by=cookie,http-pap name=hsprof1 use-radius=yes
so there is no problem with how many hotspot user going thru one port? Each physical port can handle up to 100 or 1000 mbps.can 400+ hotspot user use only one ether port at CCR unit?
Can one ether port handle it?
currently i think have more than 400++ users.how many user?
if you are using mikrotik routerboard for 500++ hotspot account, it doesn't have enough capability for 500++ hotspot user..
export which part?use print or export at the terminal.
how to export it?Please export the exact commands
wireless..the wireless is still connected, but it says limited access, then after few second internet come back.Hi,
May I know how your users are connected through. I mean wire or wireless?
How about your wan link speed?Yes, we have several 450 boards that run 100-150 room hotels that see more than 60 users a day with load balancing. For $30 more it might be worth it to go with the G board though, or a 2011 for a bit extra power.
do you know what this message mean?If I am already logged in, I can't get a login page either, but that is how it is supposed to work. I get a status page instead with a logout button.
ya.. I can't get a login page.If I am already logged in, I can't get a login page either, but that is how it is supposed to work. I get a status page instead with a logout button.
how to say?In my opinion hotspot sheet is not capable for this types of code. You should try any other proxy site. Ninja proxy is on of the best site for this type of code.
emailed already.I agree with ronix but if you need urgent help send me an email with your details and i'll send you all my skype and telephone details
How to PM?If you need a consultant I'm happy to assist. scampbell@campbell.co.nz
Alternatively there may be other consultants closer to you - http://www.mikrotik.com/consultants/
hi,
we have 30mb/30mb int. connection and it's serving at around 220-250 hotspot user with good qos and traffic shaping.
br...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I22NSeutHLMSpecify the "hack" you are talking about. Are they guessing your password? Are they prying your hotspot off the post?is there anyway to prevent hotspot hack by my clients?
Total 600 users, active 400 users...the real question is that 600 active or 600 total users?
hi.
please send export fole for me.
but maybe your ethenet port is disable or you have run same dhcp server in one ethernet.
may i know where to download user manager? If the cost of radius manager is a concern use Mikrotik's User Manager.
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:User_Manager
but i am giving free service to my clients..
I have one location with 17Mbps internet link, PCC, QoS, netflow (no NAT, L7 or SMTP) and RB1100AH peaks at about 35%. I don't think it would handle 4x more traffic.
how about using mikrotik router?
any recommendation?but maybe one user is just using a chat and does not need 0.33mbps...or maybe he just start up the computer, no internet used. Why would keep 0.33mbps "ocupied"? If there are 30 users with the same "setup"?
if not the speed will slow down?Mikrotik. You should have the APs bridged. If you are going to do QoS you might want to step up to RB1200 or RB1100AH.
Yes, but not on the 450G. You are setting up the wireless on the Ubnt. Why would the wireless on the ubiquiti device cause the 450G to be slower?
The 450G is fine for what you need.
what is the maximum device support for this router? It will not overload. it is very powerful.
the routerboard can afford it?any routerboard product can do that. yes, RB450G is an excellent choice
