Re: CCR2004-16G-2S+ cold weather performance

No experience with running in those temps, but my biggest concern would be condensation. Electronics rarely hate being cold, but condensation can destroy them. I currently have switches and RB1100ahx4 running there for years in these conditions, I think adding a small heater would only introduce co...

CCR2004-16G-2S+ cold weather performance

Hello, I'm inquiring to see if anyone has used a CCR2004 in any cold weather environments as the recommended operating temperature range is -20°C to 60°C. I have a tower site that doesn't have any heat but has a building next to tower where equipment is housed. We can see temps get down to -40°C in ...

Re: A lot of RB1100AHX4 with the same problem (rx-drop)

We are seeing the same problem with RX drops on a RB1100AHx4. Although the error rate is very low, I am concerned the error rate may go up with traffic. Previous RB1100 AHx2 didn't have this problem. Anybody have an update on this?

Thanks,

Re: Site-to-Site IPSEC slow SQL

This is typical problem with SQL (and Oracle) accessed over VPN. It does not matter what VPN device you use - MikroTik or anything else. Even if you have high bandwidth. AFAIR the problem is high latency of single packets. Unfortunately there is no simple solution to this. For example: we use Remot...
