Load balancing Speed Drops

Hi there ! I have been a weird problem with Load Balancing. There are speed drops in the aggregated link. If I use 2 Mbps + 2 Mbps I should get around 4 Mbps. I tried to download file and when it starts it gives around 4 Mbps speed but after some times the speed drops to 1.5 Mbps, after some times i...

Netinstalling would put you into IP addressed with interface = 0.0.0.0 Download Winbox Connect LAN wire in Eth3 port Connect to Router using its MAC in the neighbour's tab IP > Addresses > Assign a manual ip in the first field like 192.168.1.1/24 and select the ethernet port you are connected to cur...

Click and drag tha...

Re: Data limit on LAN interfaces

Simply make a hotspot on the desired interfaces.

Assign them usernames and password with desired value of total bytes out :D

They would eventually disconnect after crossing the data limit.

also at the month end just hit Reset All Counters in Hotspot menu and you're good to go for another month.

without logging into hotspot when you open any site it would redirect you to hotspot page. HTTPS:// sites do not redirect to hotspot page. For that I will need a certificate.. Re: Hotspot Problems on hAP Lite

You have only one rule for firewall filter . Make a new one to separate 192.168.99.10/24 not 192.168.90.0/24 as you do now.. Look that ip adress on ether1-gateway is 192.168.99.0. Also when set dhcp client set the lease time to be 00:10:00 not 3d 00:00:00 Ah.. Okay I think the DHCP client solved th...

Re: Omnitik U5hnd Bandwidth ?

Difficult to answer correctly Think the bandwidth will succeed but cpu load of the omnitik will be heavy. But this is a guess. btw Link without LOS means no stable link point B to C I have shown that there is no LOS between B and C. Its not possible to do a PtP connection between them . If CPU load...

Re: Need advice for distance 11KM link P2P/P2MP

Point To Multipoint with Omnitik over 11 Kms isn't possible  as Omnitik extends its legs till 3~4 Kms. :( However Point to Point With SXTs would work. Just give it some ample height to get more clear Fresnel Zone ( Min. 80% Clear ) you would get a Robust Link. You can also put an Omnitik Conn...

Re: [SUGGEST] Hardware for Point to Multipoint

No los no point in going any further. You need to get on that white apartment block with a repeater or dog leg around the obstruction. My approach here would be to site the omnitik on the white building and sxt at each point Ok I will try mounting an Omnitik at point A first and see what signal lev...

Re: [SUGGEST] Hardware for Point to Multipoint

I would do 2 ptp links with SXT. You can do Omnitik with sxt but ptmp gives additional latency.
SXT is cheap.
But the problem is that there is no LOS at Point B.
I am confused about the reliability of link would it be enough to give a throughput of ~20 MBPS ?
What do you think ?
