PPPoE over VPN

Hi all,

I have a current setup like below: -

Laptop (road warrior) <-- PPTP_VPN --> PPTP_VPN_SERVER <--> MikroTik (with PPPoE server config) <--> INTERNET

I cannot connect to MikroTik's PPPoE server with the above setup. Why?

I am running a SBC. I have a 12 PCI slot backplane. I had installed 10 standalone PCI network cards. Total network cards I have is 11 in the system.

So, how many NIC can MikroTik 2.9.29 support?

The MikroTik can see only 10 nics... why?

I managed to install MikroTik 2.9.26 into a CF card using the CD.

MikroTik 2.9.26 CF image booting up as installation

I had download the MikroTik 2.9.26 CF image. I used the PhysDiskWrite to write the CF image into the CF card via a USB card reader. I put in the CF card into server with built-in CF adapter, when it boot up, it shows the the MikroTik installation instead of booting up the whole system. Am I doing so...

I successfully write MikroTik 2.9.26 CF img into the CF card but when I boot from the CF, it shows installation...

How can I install from a CF to the same CF???? :?

Can I do an installation from the CD Image to the CF card?
