Re: v7 won't announce all iBGP routes to peer

Ran in to this same issue, damn. Seems like it's just one setting that's different from v6 but I can't find it. Hahaha. The performance is phenomenal it seems from testing in production, but these quirks are a bit annoying. V6 propagates eBGP routes through iBGP, but doesn't happen in reverse. Sad d...

Sampled Netflow

Is it possible to setup sampled netflow's in RouterOS? Our traffic is coming in large volumes now a days and if we get ddos'd or have failovers take on more traffic the netflows will drag the routers to their knees. If this isn't possible I would like it as a feature request. I have the owner wantin...

Re: Rx Jabber and Code Errors on SFP

We are all the sudden experiencing rx code errors as well as rx fcs errors on a wave circuit. Have had to shut down all traffic for now.

Re: TCP performance

Anyone ever figure out a good explanation for this? I'm getting odd tcp performance issues. I'm not using any mikrotik wireless, they are strictly routers. Udp and tcp with multiple connections = full speed. Tcp with one connections t uns anout an 8th of the speed but only one direction.

Re: MPLS tcp speed issues

I never did get this resolved actually, raised the MTU's, messed around with a lot of different setups, the fix was to not use mpls on the v3, it was the edge so it wasn't a huge deal. The whole core of the network runs mpls just fine. I was hoping possibly fastpath may help if they ever get a stabl...

Re: MPLS tcp speed issues

The PowerRouter v3 has a 8 port GigE Modle All the ports on that module show no l2mtu / max mtu http://www.cybernet1.com/mtu.png It's greyed out. If I set the mtu higher than 1500, i'm changing the ip mtu on that interface, so if I set it to 9000 i'd have to set the mtu on the opposite interface to ...

Re: MPLS tcp speed issues

I guess it probably dropped everything because ospf had mtu issues after that. What do you suggest I set the interfaces to on either side? This is the interface on the edge. 6 R name="ether8 - Wireless Network" mtu=1500 mac-address=00:60:E0:4A:88:D1 arp=enabled disable-running-check=no aut...

MPLS tcp speed issues

Hello, I know this is minimal information, but I just set up MPLS on our network, i'm using LDP, the routing protocol is OSPF. Currently it seems to work fine other than a couple of odd issues i'm getting. I've gone through mpls mtu checks on all the active interfaces to make sure they are correct. ...
