Re: Issues when wireless is enabled

It seems even though DHCP was handing out addresses something on the network is trying the same ip that was setup for the printer (which is handed out by the router). So changed the DHCP pool addressing range and it seems to have fixed the issue.

Re: Issues when wireless is enabled

Well the site is remote and they have thin clients on the network.
I can see in the torch on the bridge local network that is trying to talk to the print server but nothing.

I am running into a weird issue with my wireless and LAN network. What I have done is setup the LAN and have had that running for sometime now. Recently I have setup the wireless that uses the local bridge that LAN devices are working on. What I am having a issue with is a printer that will not resp...

Block Local network computer from seeing eachother

I have been thinking of a way to setup the routeros to block all local ip's that on the system from seeing each other on the local network. Why I ask I thought it would be helpful in security etc on a guest wireless network if the devices connected to the network couldn't see each other maybe a simp...

Re: RB2011UAS-2HnD no Wireless Interface v6.5

Tell me the serial number of the device, and which RouterOS version did you upgrade from (v6.4 or older?). How did you upgrade, upload the big combined package with FTP? Or uploaded individual packages? Where did you download the file? SN: 419f0283a63f/331 Original OS 6.1 Downloaded the 6.5 from th...

RB2011UAS-2HnD no Wireless Interface v6.5

Installed the version 6.5 on the RB2011UAS-2HnD router and now don't have the wireless interfaces on the system.

Is there something that I am missing.

Re: Wireless VLAN Bridge No Internet Access

Well yes that will work but it gives out the 10.110.1.* address I would like to keep the network separate especially the guest network. So doing that defeats the purpose of my goal unless I am missing something. /interface bridge port add bridge=bridge-local interface=wlan1 add bridge=bridge-local i...

Wireless VLAN Bridge No Internet Access

I have a issue and it probably something simple but need someone else to take a look. What I am trying to do is setup the RB751U-2HnD to have 2 SSID's with one on VLAN 10 and the other on VLAN 20. The local network when wired in works just fine. Take a look and let me know what I am missing? -------...

Re: IPSEC Tunnel Between Mikrotik and CISCO.

Quick question
Is your mk to cisco ipsec connection stable? Does it quit responding for no reason in the middle of the day?

Have you figured this out cause I would be interested if you got this figured out.

Thanks,

Re: IPSEC tunnel issues - SAs need flushing from time to tim

[qoute] Stupid question to be honest, it's a user forum. Mikrotik have their support if you need help, support@mikrotik.com. However - the "<3" means if the command "[/ping interface=$OutInterface $IPWatchServer count=4]" returns a value less than 3, do this. so "<3" me...

Re: VPN Questions: IPSEC src/dst network overlap & Cisco VPN

I have been running into the same issues with VPN IPSec settings. The only thing that I have found to work at this time is setup a ping to monitor the ip's on the VPN connection and if it is not responding flush the sa's and things keep working. Some of the things that I have done is change the IP P...

Re: IPSEC tunnel issues - SAs need flushing from time to tim

I have issue with RB1100AH(5.22, unique) and Cisco ASA 5510, but I can't give access. As a workaround I use the script every minute: :local IPWatchServer 10.0.1.2 :local OutInterface ether1-lan :if ([/ping interface=$OutInterface $IPWatchServer count=4]<3) do={ /ip ipsec installed-sa flush sa-type=...

Re: VLAN as a default gateway

Did you get this figured out?

I have a similar setup but I have VLAN1, 10 , 20
The VLAN1 routes fine but the 10 and 20 I can't seem to get routed correctly to the internet.

RouterOS 6.0rc6 IPSec VPN Issue

Has anyone had issues with IPSec VPN on the release 6.0rc6? It was working fine on 6.0rc5. What I am experiencing is it is dropping randomly throughout the day. To restore the connection I will go into /IP IPsec remote peers and kill the connections. Just curious if anyone else has seen this and if ...
