Re: PPTP server problem

I configured as you described above, but unfortunately I had no luck, a connection was not established. When I try to connect via vpn address of the RB interface within the LAN (vpn server address 192.168.178.201) a valid connection is established, but not from WAN (public IP). I forgot to mention t...

Re: PPTP server problem

Yes, I am prety sure that GRE isn't blocked by ISP, becaus when allowing incoming PPTP connections on my local windows 7 machine, connecting works as expected. I attached a screen shot which shows the connections currently made while trying to connect from outside via VPN PPTP. It seems that the rep...

PPTP server problem

Hello everybody, for days I try in vain to set up a PPTP server on my RB750. The interface is ethter5 with 192.168.168.201 TCP 1723 and GRE is routed from the Internet router to 192.168.168.201. In IP / Firewall chain input TCP 1723 and GRE action is set to accept. The request goes from WAN to 192.1...

Re: Complete export / import of RB 750GL

After /export comapct file=exp at the old RB350GL and /import file-name=exp.rsc at the new RB350GL I wasn't able to connect to the new RB350 any more. Maybe this is the result of different ROS-versions? The old one has version 5.16 and the new one has 5.24. Does anyone know whether this is a problem...

Re: Complete export / import of RB 750GL

I was afraid that the MAC addresses are different.
So I want to know if I can make a 1 to 1 copy of the device, and how it works.

Thanks for your help and best regards, Mike.

netbios probe doesn't work any more

Hello all,
from one day to the next, the probe "netbios" fails.
The Dude reports for all computers that this service is not available.
What happened here, and what must I do to reactivate this service?
Thanks for any help, and best regards, Mike.

External Web-Proxy with RB750

Hello there, I am using a RB750 which has no additional data storage medium. The internal web-proxy requires a minimum fo 30 MB space, but the RB750 has none. After using DHCP instead of assgning a static ip the ping works and the machine is reachable (after defining a firewall rule).
But I have no idea why not while having a static ip ??
