Re: I need better hardware for Hotspot Gateway

How do you authenticate your users instead using Hotspot Servlets? I have a x86 based solution, but my performance is not the best, how can you manage all of this users in a single box?
Could you share us some information about your experience with this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Bokad

What about the interface in Winbox, there is new features in 3.X version (Filters, "FIND" search tool, etc) or the IPV6 support ?

Do you know if they are available on 2.9.51 version ?

Thanks and Regards

Re: Upgrading from 2.9.x to 3.0rcx

Thanks for the advice krigevr.

It seems to be the same procedure as upgrading in 2.9.x versions.

Is there any differences in features between 2.9.x and 3.0.rcx versions ?

My settings on version 2.9.x still working after upgrading to 3.0.rcx ?

Thanks again.

Re: Problems with DHCP Server owned by suscribers

It's been awhile since I played with Canopy gear, but I think I remember them having the ability to filter packets. You might be able to filter DHCP requests headed towards your customers and DHCP replies coming from them. Yes they have, I've already filtred DHCP Server packets but the issue remain...

No, all my suscribers connect directly to my hotspot interface in a Mikrotrik Box, the MK is the Router and also the DHCP Server in hotspot mode. All the suscribers are on the same Network. Even the MK log is r...
