Re: Detection of CAPsMAN AP Type

Nope, trying to detect architecture-name such as arm, arm64, tile, mipsbe, hence which routeros file is needed to upgrade them. From cli you can run /system resource get architecture-name and it will respond with devices correct architecture-name but under CAPsMAN I have not found a way to detect ar...

Detection of CAPsMAN AP Type

Attempting to detect architecture-name of the remote CAPs either from the CAPsMAN or WiFiWave2 equivalent screen. in process of updating a script that goes out and downloads the correct upgrade files from an internal server for both the Router and the needs of the CAPsMAN/WiFiWave2 CAPS's but can no...

cAPGi-5HaxD2HaxD running under Wave2 CAPSMAN drop connection

Have a CCR1009-7G running 7.10.1 running as Wave2 CAPsMAN for 2 x cAPGi-5HaxD2HaxD (7.10.1 as well) but about every 72 hours the cAPGI's drop WiFi connections and IOS/Andriod or Printers start prompting invalid password or other errors, A quick reboot of the cAPGi's causes everything to return to no...

Re: HAP ax3 don't upgrade from Factory level 7.6 - Wireless Interfaces disappears

You are both correct as support came back with the same answer, wifiwave2 is part of the extra packages when upgrading/downgrading via custom scripts, manual upgrade or downgrade paths and needs to be added just like the base routeros npk file, so now off to modify the custom upgrade scripts to watc...

HAP ax3 don't upgrade from Factory level 7.6 - Wireless Interfaces disappears

As I normally do applied settings specific to customer location, and tested everything then attempted to upgrade from 7.6 arm64 to latest 7.9 arm64 and wireless interfaces are gone. Tried downgrading back to 7.6, factory defaulting router, restored original backup but nothing and as shown below /int...

IPsec between CCR v7.6 and SonicOS x7 timeout

Have been able to successfully create an IPsec tunnel between a Mikrotik CCR1009 running v7.6 and a Sonicwall NSV270 running SonicOS7. The only odd issue still happening is a daily timeout of the IPsec tunnel. If you go under Active Peers it shows the tunnel connected but numeric values are not chan...

Re: CCR1009 Rebooting

So the CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ (7.6) that was effected by the reboots has been stable since yesterday around 1:15pm PST, I don't know if this is related or not but I noticed the ipv4 address of "36.156.28.131" attempting all types of connections with the router before I blocked it a short time l...

Re: CCR1009 Rebooting

You can add another CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ to the list, upgraded from 6.49.7 to 7.6 about two weeks ago and all the sudden today it has rebooted about 3 times in a 12 hour period. The CCR226's running 7.6 connected to same ups haven't rebooted at all. Tool/Profile shows very little usage currently last r...

6.48.2 Firewall Question

I have several CCR and other series routers running on different carriers and as part of a general bad traffic drop I have several lines at the start of the firewall which drop traffic if they match an ip address listed in source or destination list. I have noticed over the last several days adding ...

Re: Double Router Static IP Forwarding

@Zerobyte, can you provide an example of what you mean? If I turn Nat Masquerade off on the Carrier Router nothing from the Tenant Router can access the outside world. No matter what I try I cannot seem to preserve the Static IP passthrough from the Tenant Router via the Carrier Router to the outsid...

Re: Double Router Static IP Forwarding

@pukkita based on information you provided the inbound side of the traffic is working great. However I am having trouble with the outbound side of the traffic if I don't have a srcnat "masquerade" in place no outbound traffic from either Tenant Router can proceed out but this doesn't allow...

Looking for a little help in setting up a CCR1016-12S-1S+ for Multi-Tenant Routing. I have the CCR configured with the WAN Interface Address and utilizing a...

ATT/ACC Non-MIS Fiber Inetrnet

Not sure where to post this, so I figured I would start here. We have recently seen a price spike (California, US) in Broadband Fiber Carrier Pricing and where offered an alternative via ATT/ACC for Non-MIS Fiber Internet 150/150Mbps the catch being we have to provide both the Customer Router and th...
