Re: Massive packet loss on WAN after upgrading ROS 5.26 -> 6.28

Routerboot 3.07 is abit old acourding to http://routerboard.com/RB450G
3.18 should be the latest.

To upgrade:
System->routerboard-> see if you are offered 3.18 hit upgrade and do a reboot

Re: Abuse of port 25

that kind of mail server is this?
A mail server should only send spam mails if the mail server is infected ore a valid user is infected by a virus.

One more senario is
If this server is runned on the same ip as the other internal client of your orgination then the infection is on you intranet.

Do this issue accure after you upgraded Ros? in that case from what version to?

If these connections comes from spesific hosts you can make exceptions in the firewall to allow them.

Re: How do I know what fiber a Mikrotik SFP will work with?

First you have to know if you have multi ore single mode. orange is normaly multi. 50 vs 62.5 have whit core diameter on the cable and the speed. For 850-nm Gigabit Ethernet, these bandwidth values support link lengths of 220 meters over 62.5-micron fiber and 550 meters over 50-micron fiber http://w...

I was able to mostly alleviate the issue if I set the AP to B/G-Only, disabled WMM, 20mhz channel, Chain-1-only, antenna-A Only. You might try this, as long as you can deal with B/G speeds.
Didnt do anything for me.
