Re: Plex from outside network

I had proper NAT rules in place and proper firewall forward rules in place, and the solution for me was this: https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/comment/1450524#Comment_1450524 In summary, I had to connect to the box 'locally' (in my case using an ssh tunnel connection to the box and a SOCKS5 proxy),...

Re: 2xPS4 + Destiny + 1 Network -- Anyone have this working?

I should note that the Wireless AP is a Ubiquiti Unifi, so there wasn't any double NAT going on.

Re: 2xPS4 + Destiny + 1 Network -- Anyone have this working?

Well this is solved now. Turns out after assuring me he was connected via ethernet he was connected via wireless. Never had a chance to check this before. The wireless AP is a good distance from the PS4 so that likely accounts for the intermittent dropping after enabling UPnP; so far 30 minutes with...

2xPS4 + Destiny + 1 Network -- Anyone have this working?

Just curious if anyone specifically has a similar environment where two or more people are using two or more PS4s with two or more copies of Destiny on a single network with a single public IP. UPnP is enabled and "works", however a post here (http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2014/02/08...

Re: Wget Afraid - FREEDNS script help

In the latest version you can also use "/tool fetch url=..." Thanks, that was easy enough. If anyone does this just make sure to escape the ? here as well, for example: /tool fetch url="http://freedns.afraid.org/dynamic/update.php\?YOURTOKENFROMTHEURL=" Anyone know if it matters...

How to access Windows File Share over L2TP VPN? [solved]

I have successfully setup an L2TP VPN tunnel via this site , however I can't seem to access my windows file shares. Other services seem to work fine though, such accessing my uTorrent Web UI via its local ip address. I can ping other devices on the network, but for whatever reason I can't ping my co...

Script I wrote to email me if an IP is added to my SAFE list

I first followed some advice and set up a knock knock rule to give me access to my router from a remote location, so as a proof of concept I wanted to be notified if someone were to somehow figure out the knock knock rule and gain access to my device. My knock knock rule is just 3 ports that when ac...

Winbox via Mac Address an option??
I just found this solution! Yes this worked, I am back online now. Thank you for the reply it would have saved my ass if I didn't find it a few minutes ago. I gave you karma and just saved my backup to Dropbox. Hours of hell were just removed from my life.

Re: I think I hosed my installation, forwarded all TCP ports

What device is this? Does it have a serial port? If so, you can access the setup that way. It isn't affected by the firewall. It's a RB751, sorry thought I included that. Unfortunately no serial port. If I do a reset will it clear everything on the router? I definitely have a recent backup stored t...

I think I hosed my installation, forwarded all TCP ports...

I was setting up a NAT rule to allow access on a port to a device, and accidentally hit save before I entered the ports. I'm fairly certain that I've now forwarded ALL tcp ports from all addresses on my "SAFE" list to 10.0.0.46. I'm fairly certain I can restore from a backup but I'm also f...
