Re: v7.1beta4 [development] is released!

I still can't get routing filters to work, so that OSPF would pick up the default route. I tried the same under beta3, but there OSPF didn't seem to consider the filters at all. Now with beta4, there is only: /routing/filter/rule add chain=ospf_out rule= . There is no match-prfx-value or similar, as...

Re: v7.1beta3 [development] is released!

Is anyone else seeing port-flapping with 7.1b3 on RB3011's ? I'm also seeing flapping of ethernet interfaces on my RB3011 connected to my CRS328-24p running 6.48. I tried connecting two cables using RTSP, but for some reason both links flapped at the same time, but I only used eth1 and eth2, so on ...

Re: v7.1beta3 [development] is released!

V7.1beta3 on RB3011 I tried already multiple times to update my RB3011UiAS to 7.1beta3. Tried copying the file with scp to the routerboard and also using: /system/package/update/install Both ways the display just shows "rebooting" but the device is locked up. Once I power cycle it, it boo...

Re: PUSHOVER - ready MikroTik script to send messages

If you set keep-result=no on the fetch command in the script it works.

Also make sure you set the policy to something like policy=read, write, test on scripts that you want to run from netwatch.

- WinBox => CAPsMAN: Reboot button for CAPs
You can currently at least use the upgrade function to trigger a reboot of the CAPs, even when there is no new RouterOS:
/caps-man remote-cap
upgrade [find]

Re: Small PoE switch to power multiple different devices ?

Now imagine if MikroTik made a rackmountable CRS with 802.3af and 24V PoE out... Awesome point, I was thinking the same way! Btw, the EdgeMax switches also look promising - although they are not yet available. But they only make sense, when you need more than 8 ports. What I don't get about the Tou...

Re: Small PoE switch to power multiple different devices ?

Hi, I'm using a Ubiquiti Toughswitch for these kinds of devices (RB911s, Rockets and some 802.3af converters). It seems switching the passive PoE output on the Toughswitch to 48V does work with some 802.3af devices - although I cannot guarantee it won't break things. Of course this only works on the...

Re: New Wireless package

I would like to test it also on ptmp on one or two APs and some users.

What happens if APs runs wireless-fp package and users don't?
I just tried this on 6.15 with a test-setup and only one user, works fine. The CPE is still running the wireless package, and the AP wireless-fp.

Re: Heartbleed test

I just verified, the webfig is not affected.

Wonder what version of OpenSSL RouterOS uses, probably some 0.9.X version, which will imply that all ssl/tls services of RouterOS are unaffected.
