Re: Feature requests

And another (much repeated request) for a NATIVE MacOS Winbox version. Currently have to start VMWare Fusion just to start Winbox....

Re: Feature requests

#3 Ability to hide/remove certain columns from some of the screens would be wonderful. This will allow support staff to reduce the clutter by having fewer but relevant columns displayed on some mobile devices such as small laptops. #4 If the above custom configuration can be saved as part of a user...

Re: Feature requests

Some Winbox related requests from me: #1 I often use Winbox to support IOT devices behind a firewall. Access is based on Telnet or SSH using Tools->Telnet menu access. If this menu option could be accessed from the DHCP Server->Leases screen, possibly using Right click with the device highlighted it...

Re: "Roaming" device port

Thanks for the feedback. I can go onsite to make the changes but some examples before I go would be of value. Planned physical config on RB3011 is as follows: SFP Disabled Port 1 WAN/Internet Port 2 Disabled Port 3 Disabled Port 4 Disabled Port 5 Windows workstation Port 6 192.168.1.0/24 connected t...

"Roaming" device port

We have a need to logically move a single workstation, physically directly connected to a specific port on our core router (RB3011), between 4 different networks being 192.168.[1-4].0/24 addresses. Each of the 4 different Class C address ranges are represented by 4 different ports on the RB3011. The...

Re: mapping range of sequential ports to same port on sequential IPs

Hi Sindy,

Thanks for the feedback.
yes, security an issue so we would have enabled the rules only as needed through remote webmin access
And a single IP to access from also makes sense.

Where can I find an example of such a script?

Re: mapping range of sequential ports to same port on sequential IPs

It looks like you are simply mapping a range of ports on the incoming side to an equal sized range of ports on the private side. That is not what we would like to do.. Maybe my question was not clear. The destination IP's will be a range (50 IP's) with the specific IP value determined by the base IP...

mapping range of sequential ports to same port on sequential IPs

We have ~50 identical IoT devices inside a firewall. All of them support a management port that we would like to access from outside during a test deployment phase. Other than 50 separate rules NATting every individual port to a specific IP is there a way to map: public IP xxx.yyy.zzz.www on port ra...

RB2011UAS-2HnD LCD and OpenWRT support

Hi, I am trying to get the LCD display to work under OpenWRT trunk (r36713). I have identified the LCD controller as the ST7735 but from what I read the various flavours can be addressed using SPI bus, Serial (RS232) and using bit banging. What I need to know is how it is interfaced to the RB2011 an...
