Re: Allow PepLink load balancer as WAN to see Mikrotik clients

I was hoping / thinking it was something easy, but just couldn't wrap my head around it. It worked instantly.

Thanks so much,

Ben

Allow PepLink load balancer as WAN to see Mikrotik clients

I have a mobile internet setup that I use with a touring group. We are in a different city / location / building etc... every couple of days. We have printers / scanners /servers / APs that get deployed each time. I've recently added a PepLink Balance One to the mix as we are getting to more sites t...

Re: TimeWarner Business IPv6

Hi kiaunel, Thank for the reply. I did not have any success with these settings. Using the yy3/127 as the address on the Wan Interface and yy2 as the route, the route says unreachable. If I set the WAN as yy2 and the route as yy3, i get a "reachable via Ether-1" I set up Neighbor Discovery...

TimeWarner Business IPv6

I upgraded my fiber connection to a higher speed with TimeWarner recently. When they came to upgrade the equipment, I got handed a new set of Static IP's. Both ipv4 and ipv6. The ipv4 is up and running and great. But now I want to start playing with the ipv6. I'm not really sure where to begin with ...

Re: Brand new RB850x2 - WinBox connection lagy, interfaces and all data missing

Hi Marsark, I've had similar issues with the 850 as have others. It seems to be related to connection via Mac Address vs IP. See this thread for thoughts / comments / complaints / workarounds. But the short version and what worked for me. Between disconnects, I was able to get enough of a config in ...

Re: Simple NAT rule

There is nothing about the server IP, is there something wrong?
Check your columns. the image shows src address and dst address, but your script is using in-interface and to-address. If you don't have those columns turned on, you won't see them.

Re: Apple Tv problem!

I don't have this setup, but since someone further up the chain mentioned that adding a hub/switch between the apple TV and the Mikrotik helped... have you looked at the link between the apple TV and the Tik? What is the port auto negotiated at? Is it flapping? Maybe try setting that port to 100Mbps...

Re: Router with IP Camera & DVR

Just a correction (I think) unless I'm misunderstanding your question. Yo do NOT have to do any port forwarding if you are only accessing the camera / DVR from the local network. If you set your DVR and IP camera to receive an IP from the built in DHCP server, everything should be able to "see&...

Re: Dyn DNS

do you have /ip services web enabled?
does your firewall allow incoming new connections to the port set in the services tab?
do you restrict access to certain ip's that are allowed to connect via web?

Re: CRS125 - basic wire speed VLAN configuration

This is probably not the most helpful answer as I can't actually solve your problem, but as I'm researching it myself, here's a bit of what I've discovered. I could very well be wrong about this as I've found many confusing/contradicting posts on this forum... In short, if you use /interface vlan yo...

Re: I can not see LTE interface.(at Huawei E3272)

what model RB are you using. I now can't find the page, but depending on model, there was a note on a wiki page saying that the first time you plug a new USB device in, you may have to reboot the RB (not system reboot, but actually remove power to the RB). The one time I used a 4G USB modem with a R...

Queue Tree for an idiot

I'm sure I'm just getting lost in the language, but I can't quite wrap my head around Queue tree. I just want to be sure that I'm not catching local network traffic in my queue. I followed the setup as explained in http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=73214&p=371363#p371361 and I p...

Re: Metal only accessible via Telnet on another RouterBoard

Thanks very much. I had a feeling it would be something stupid. FYI, i actually had to add the default gateway as 192.168.220.1, not 222.1. But you got me to the right place which is what counts.

Thanks again,

Metal only accessible via Telnet on another RouterBoard

I'm hoping I'm missing something dumb in my routing table that someone else will spot. I have a core RB (RB2011-UAS) running 2 networks a x.x.222.0/23 (Main Data) and a x.x220.0/24 (VoIP). Each is in its own bridge on the main RB with ethernet ports assigned appropriately. On the VoIP network/bridge...

Re: RB VLAN with Cisco and Ruckus

Thanks Rudios, Unfortunately that didn't do it. I removed the IP address' from the VLAN's and re enabled the VLANS on the ether8 interface. The second I re enabled them, traffic on the BR-DATA bridge went to almost 0. As soon as I disabled them again, traffic goes right back up to 20Mbs. Any other i...

RB VLAN with Cisco and Ruckus

Hello, I'm still getting my feet wet with all things Mikrotik. I have what is hopefully an easy question and I'm just missing a step. I'm currently running everything native on my network but I would like to add VLANS to expand my wireless network setup to allow for a segregated guest network and a ...
