Re: Cap to cap connection

Currently it's:
capsman<----wired--->cap1

What i want to do is:
capsman<----wired--->cap1<---wired--->cap2

so I don't have to do:
capsman<---wired--->cap2

Cap to cap connection

Is there any difference between cap to cap connection or do I need to connect cap directly to capsman? I'm asking because I'm adding a new cap, and the existing cap is much closer then capsman.

It started working again. I made reset with the button on the wAP and then loaded old settings. Strange..

Now i have a problem that i cant see other computers when on openvpn. I guess it has something to do with modifying the bridge to use master ports.

It was labeled as "unknown". Bypass switch is in "0".

I have recreated bridge like you wrote. Added only 1,6,11,.. and made 1 and 6 master ports.

Still the same in the logs. Port 8 is where i have cap connected.

Ok. So what is the best practise to have both routers use the same subnet?

Run two dhcp servers, one on each of them? On the first let say (10.0.0.2-10.0.0.30) and on the other router (10.0.0.40-10.0.0.50)?
Or just run one dhcp server and then make a relay from the other one?
