MT says they remove "ibgp-rr-client" , because it's just the same with "ibgp"
But turns out the capability of being client itself is gone with the removal of that local.role

I have a similar case with mix scenario, running VPLS on ROS7 and Cisco route reflector

In my case, the latest working version is 7.15.3, it stopped working since 7.16

Can you try comparing those version to see if we had a valid result?

BGP still missing ibgp-rr-client local.role since 7.16 It will be missing because ibgp-rr-client had no special meaning, it is the same as ibgp. Also, BFD is not an option for IS-IS, basically you cannot trigger down IS-IS adjacency using BFD (option not available, like it is available for OSPF). So, for fast convergence you must rely on tight IS-IS timers.

Yes, IS-IS is in early development and there are known problems that will be addressed in the future. if it's far from functional, please put the tag as "initial support" like on 7.12 , instead put it as "working" in here https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/Routing+Protoc...

1. still limited to 1500 MTU
2. dual stack , IPv6 not established
3. MikroTik and Juniper is not exchanging LSP's
4. no option for metric style wide
5. other routing protocols still can't redistribute IS-IS

But somehow I still haven't been able to use IS-IS for multi vendor

Tried with JunOS and IOS-XE , none of them works
Ok just found out, that it only works for maximum 1500 MTU

Cisco is not receiving IIH message from MikroTik

Is anyone trying IS-IS cli? is it good?
I did a quick lab on the rc version (only between ros devices) and so far.. it was ok.
I had no time to test interoperability, it will be my next move.
Other routing protocols ( BGP, OSPF ) cannot redistribute IS-IS routes

You can probably implement that via RADIUS authentication and a solution on your RADIUS server?
I don't think it's doable, until MT add PAP capability for login, as I recall 2FA using RADIUS, required PAP, while MT doesn't support PAP

I cannot set RD values on VRF, and upgrading my RB1100AHx2 from beta6 to rc1 somehow crashes my box, that I need to reset using reset button

And please give us the ability for management VRF, currently all management services only works for master instance

I'm running hotspot on 2.9.42

I often get 100% CPU load

Does anybody experiencing the same problem as me ?

My concurrent user is about 100, I didn't have this problem when I was using 2.9.13

I'm using RB532

I'm having problem with preemption on VRRP, i disabled preemption, but when i reboot my router, when my router come back up, it took over the master state again, no matter the priority number is the same or not.
