See https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interface/Wireless#Repeater I would not recommend doing this without a wired connection during configuration though. So, is it possible or not what I described? More than that, if you send me to a generic documentation you are not helping me, because I don'...

Re: OVPN routing issues

Hi All,

Thank you for your help. I manage to configure fallowing your instructions.

It seems that over OVPN I get low transfer rate.

From router to router I get 60Mbps
Over OVPN I get around 300 Kbps

Certificates are 4096 and MTU is 1500

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Set up rules in ip firewalls forward chain, to block or accept whatever addresses you need.

I know that i need to set up an firewall rule, but i don't know how to block that ip to go in internet but in the same time to be accessed from internet via port forward on port 80 for example.

Thanks,

Re: port 80 bloked issue - RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN

Re: Hotspot network. what AP to use?

I understand that they want wifi inside the houses. But do they care how you deliver the connectivity to their houses? If yes then you would need to make ptp link for each individual house to be able to guarantee the speed. But the band is not wide enough to host so many links too close each other....

Re: Hotspot network. what AP to use?

Optics would be a solution, BUT, the customers wants WIFI :), They already have UTP at 100Mb, they are not happy with cables, they want WIFI.

That's why i posted my question in the wifi section asking about an wifi solution.

Thanks,

Re: Hotspot network. what AP to use?

If you really want to reliably deliver such speed for all houses along the street you should dig deep down the optic. I also wonder how you could bring at least 10gbps uplink to such area. Maybe more would be needed if you connect more than 100 houses. Hi Jarda, Let's focus on wifi, forget about my...

Re: RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN antenna

If you want to cover blank places of your flat, use other ap connected to main router by cable. It will be much more efficient than making antennas bigger. Otherwise explain in details what your goal really is. I have perfect coverage in the house, except the balcony (after i close the door). I don...

RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN / firewall rules / webfig wan

Hi, I tried to configure my router (RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN) to accept connections on port 80 or 8080 for the webfig. At a certain point i realize that because the default DROP rule was before that accept rule for input on port 80 or 8080 on the wan interface the router didn't accepted the connection for...
