I can ping the url if that's what you mean - it resolves correctly.

I can ping upgrade.mikrotik.com from my RB750GL, but when checking for updates in System>Packages, it throws an error saying could not resolve upgrade.mikrotik.com. The last time I tried to start setting up a 750 I gave up because I couldnt even work out how to set the ip of the board! Is there a simple idiot's guide anywhere that will get me going? (can one even set the board to a static ip for access?)
