Re: How to obtain on SNMP Optical Tx and RX Power from SFP? [SOLVED]

Hi, I know this is set as solved, so sorry for posting it here. I have a CSS326 running SwOS 2.13 and I queried it like: /tool snmp-walk <IP-of-the-device> oid=1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1 community=public Columns: OID, TYPE, VALUE OID TYPE VALUE 1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.3.11.0 integer 600 1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1...

Re: GPON SFP+ 3FE46541AA Negotiating Incorrect Link Speed

Hi, do you guys know how to decode the MAC address of this Acaltell Lucent ONT? I know that the serial number is the mac and it is show with the name of the vendor like ALCLF1234567. Another (maybe silly) question: how the console of these ONTs are accessed? Via the fiber port for remote provision, ...

Re: CAPsMAN manager can't manage its own wireless [SOLVED]

I have hundreds of CapMans managing they own wireless interfaces. On layer2 or layer3? I do have it working, but could not make it work on layer 2. 1st. and very important - never use any default configuration on router - start with absolute empty configuration. 2. Make CapsMan config 3. Exclude wl...

Re: CAPsMAN - How to force layer 2?

Have you tried the last beta?
What's new in 6.44beta50 (2018-Dec-17 13:01):

*) capsman - always accept connections from loopback address;
Nope, I am running 6.43.8. Nice to see a solution is finally coming.

Re: CAPsMAN unable to manage its own Wireless interface

doesn't solve it for me. i've disabled all my filter rules. no bueno. the only way for capsman to "see" the onboard wlan is to set forbid all to no in caps manager. Same here, added firewall rule and had to set forbid to no on all. For me this is a bug because someone upstream (wan) may t...

Re: CAPsMAN - How to force layer 2?

Nice workaround! This is still an issue almost three years later. 1) I cannot forbid CAPsMan on all interfaces but local because it prevents own cap to connect 2) I cannot use layer 2 on own cap interface 3) The worst: this is not documented anywhere besides user forums (it should be on CAPsMan man...

Re: CAPsMAN manager can't manage its own wireless [SOLVED]

I was having this same problem, [...] I found that the problem was due to the lack of using certificates. I had same issue and my conclusion is: 1) once you set cap to use certificate, even do you set it back to no certificate, it still ask certificate and result in error. summary: once set to use ...

Re: enhance "check-gateway" feature - use arbitrary check IP

Based on your input would this be feasible to check two external IPs?.......... /ip route add distance=1 dst-address=8.8.4.4/32 gateway=192.168.1.1 scope=10 (google) add distance=2 dst-address=208.67.220.220/32 gateway=192.168.1.1 scope=10 (opendns) add check-gateway=ping distance=1 gateway=8.8.4.4...

Re: enhance "check-gateway" feature - use arbitrary check IP

1- assuming you dont have any other static routes (ie no other entries in /ip route), could you use: add distance=3 gateway=192.168.2.254 instead of: add distance=10 gateway=192.168.2.254 (im just trying to fully understand if there is a link between the scope=10 of first rule and distance=10 of la...

Re: RouterBoard with 4G/LTE ?

If they are connected through USB I guess that Huawei will work. You can get it at Kabum and others store. Also, TIM sells Huawei but last time I checked only 3G model.
