Hola ?

Nobody from Mikrotik can answer this? The documentation is not clear about this.

Thank you

Does R11e_LR8G provides fine timestamp ?

Hi, I have just noticed a new version of the LORA8 minipci card (and a new WAP LORA8G gateway). In the marketing material it claims better sensibility and GPS timestamp Does this mean with this module, received packets have fine timestamp based on GPS so we can track lora nodes based on TDoA ? Thank...

Can LORA module transmit/receive via MQTT ?

Hi I'm using WAP Lora8 with 6.4x version of RouterOS. The only way to communicate the LORA modem with 3rd party elements (eg. network server like TTN or Chirpstack) is via the Semtech pkt forwarder which we specify remote IP and tx/rx udp ports. Is there a way to configure the LORA modem to use MQTT...

wap LORA 868 : unable to send FSK packet

Hi, I'm trying to send a FSK downlink packet from the gateway wAP R with a Lora 868 card (mk v 6.49.2) I'm using the Chirpstack Gateway Bridge to send the JSON packet: {"token":1,"downlinkID":"/6fwQWeFSMamBs5wpCvi+A==","items":[{"phyPayload":"MS...

How to optimize ip nat rules

Hi, I'm preparing a CGNAT configuration like in the wiki article and I'm concerned about the speed of parsing ip nat rules. For example if I'm going to map ~250 private ip address and I'm reserving 512 ports for NAT per private IP, then I can put 126 private IPs per public IP, so I need 2 public IPs...

Re: PtMP maximum wireless performance

In fact is 40Mhz (20+20) Your screenshot shows layer1 modulation speed of 300 Mbps.. this is if you use 40 MHz channel wide, two polarization, so: 40V+40H.. Specs say : 4 connectors N per external antenna, so I'm pretty sure is not just one polarity. That's right: you have freedom to configure the ...

Re: PtMP maximum wireless performance

The problem is you are using a post-wifi system with all its flaws like -the system is not only driven by AP but by CPEs too. -the system doesn't know the "air" capacity so can't know the total bandwidth available -as the above is not clear, there is no way enforce any real QoS on the wire...

ip firewall rule for logging nat traffic (only 1 connection per host)

Hi, I'm trying to figure how to perform this: -I want to log the internet access traffic by private IPs (NAT) but I don't want to log all the tcp connections (eg syn status), udp packets, etc.. with a simple ip firewall rule. I want to keep the log file as small as possible, I only need to log the d...

Re: CCR1036 memory upgrade question

Hi Normis

is there any chance Mikrotik can serious consider developing a video transcode app for the CCR ? If so, can you please provide any contact in your organization to discuss this ?

Re: CCR1036 memory upgrade question

Hi Normis why you at mikrotik doesn't develop a mikrotik package for video transcoding based on ffmpeg and the tilera medialib? (fully optimized for the tile platform)  You have other modules like hotspot, proxy, etc.. this can be a new application for this equipment... Even you can sell it apart!! ...

Re: CCR1036 memory upgrade question

I'm using routeros as base os and running my applications over it. I have enabled the devel account in order to access to the shell, then installed a complete busybox (as the one which comes with routeros is very limited). I'm evaluating ffmpeg for mpeg2  (4-5 mbit/s) to mpeg4/xvid/x264 (1 mbit/s)  ...

Hi I have been looking for a memory upgrade for the CCR1036 but it is not clear to me. What is the absolute maximum memory it can be installed? 16 Giga? Re: Question about SFP+ 10G, 10km, 1310nm mikrotik module : are they 10GBASE-LR compatible?

Hi, thank you for the answer: may be the question should be: Is the mikrotik module compatible with 10BASEG-LR ? (this mean interoperable with other sfp+ 10g on 1310nm and able to distances up to 10km?) Other vendor SFP+ for that parameters (1310nm,10km) say 10BASEG-LR compliant but mikrotik doesn't...

Hi I'm looking for if the 10G SFP+ modules like "S+31DLC10D SFP+ module 10G SM 10km 1310nm" are compatibles or interwork with 10GBase-LR SFP+ ? 10Gbase-LR says up to 10km with monomode fiber at 1310nm like the mikrotik module but the SFP+ I have seen explicitly say 10Gbase-LR (mikrotik doe...

Re: CCR1009 dropping or unordering UDP packets with high load

I tried changing the interface queue type from "only hardware queue" to "default fifo" without success. Is this correct? Is there another way to do this?

Thanks

CCR1009 dropping or unordering UDP packets with high load

Hi, I have just fixed one weird problem with the CCRs which was dropping packets or disordering them from input to output. The CCR 1009 is running latest stable (bug fix version 6.32.4) and it is just routing between two subnets. It is used for feeding an IPTV headend and it is moving > 300 Mbps and...

Hi,

yes I have changed the MACs on one of the routers to bypass the issue.

Both routers have the same factory default MACs , the serial numbers are different.

It is routing only (no nat), DHCP server, PPPoE server, DNS server and nothing else It had 5.25 installed It has been working flawlessly for years without issues. Now I have disconnected equipment in eth9 and e...

nstreme or nstreme dual for a 25 km link?

Good afternoon, I'm new in mikrotik wireless althought I use mikrotik for core routers. Just asking about a wireless link 25 km. It will have correct aerial size in order both ends are at max. modulation (~-55 dbm). It requires high packet rate (~3000-4000 pkts/seconds) but not too much traffic (< 2...
