Nstreme setup problems

Hi, I currently have to high sites that I need to connect with a pretty big and sold back bone. So I thought since both end have RB600 I would put nstreme to work. I started off by getting Wlan2 on router board 1 talking to Wlan2 on rb2 then I got wl3 on rb1 to talk to wl3 on rb2. All taking no mess...

Well the best way would be to setup Q's.

there are a number of way to do it, with alot of options.
Start with a basic Q
It is pretty straight forward, so if you are having problems you are going to have to let me know.

Have you got a routing protocol running? if not then you will have to either install one or manually connect to each AP and insert the correct routes Example First unit you will have to say 192.168.1.200/32 192.168.2.0/24 --> 10.0.10.101/32 192.168.3.0/24 --> 10.0.10.101/32 192.168.4.0/24 --> 10.0.1...

Hotspot getting hacked

I have just installed my first hotspot. very exciting. I have followed all the steps indicated. I have put in the correct firewall rules. There seems to be somebody connecting to my hotspot and they are not logging on but they have the ability to pass traffic. any tips or ideas? I have torched them ...

What default Gateways have you put? You dont have to tell the Mikrotik Router about the networks because its directly attched to both. BUT, the cisco router doesnt know the clients network and the client doesnt know the cisco network. try add in the cisco, a route that points to the mikrotik for the...

Have you put in the necessary firewall rules? make sure that only Hotspot users are allowed to pass. I think I have the same problem with a guy and his apple airport. I have spent two days tracking and trying to stop this guy from accessing my network. I have stopped him but its the one I dont know ...
