i have RB150 with firmware version 2.6 and i want to upgrade to version 2.12, i'm using xterm for uploading new firmware but after reboot the firmware is still version 2.6 even int he terminal says firmware upgraded sucessful. any suggestion how to upgrade this rb150 firmware ?

i have tried to set the arp in reply only mode and add arp list manually, it doesnt work because that dummy gateway using xp box and it has it own dhcp server. so set this to static it doesnt help and make my network totaly jam

now i move my ip gateway address to another ip, hope this works, if is still doesn work, i will find that person who did this and kick his butt...

that rule should be blocking all p2p in 192.168.10.0/24 subnet except ip 192.168.10.25, if your ip address is not 192.168.10.25 then mk will drop your p2p connection

it would be very helpful if you give more specific information, to block p2p you can add firewall rule in forward section to drop all p2p except ip you let to pass. say you want to pass ip 192.168.0.5 to pass p2p rule and drop the rest of ip. code: ip firewall rule forward add src-address=!192.168.0...

i want to know how to block packet which use ip v6 on mikrotik. say i want to block ip 192.168.201 on all port except port 80, one day i found someone on my network open windows pseudo tunnelling and it seem mikrotik unable to block this traffic. any suggestion maybe ?

use simple queue and enter the ip address u want to limit for example 192.168.22.10 and enter the limit u want to use 16000 for 16k, hope this help
