As I understand it, when playing a lan game, the game broadcasts on 255.255.255.0, however the vpn puts you on a 255.255.255.255 network, hence the game cannot recive the broadcast. we are using simple queues to limit speed, but this user has bought extra bandwith from us, so when he uses, it takes up to much over-all bandwith. I can see by torching his ip, that he is downloading from rapidshare, with 8 sessions open. If i can limit that to only 2, things will be better

Thanks for that, the problem is that we have many clents connecting to the same AP, some working great at 48meg, including feeds to other distrubition points. so dont want to force them to a lower speed.

I just wanted to force just the one client bridge to a certain speed.

Sorry, i have made the mistake, when adding the ip address to the list, by default they are dissabled. Enabling them cured fault.
