Re: IGMP Proxy, Shelly, CoAP - issues

Anyone has any idea where else to look or where exactly should I sniff the traffic?

IGMP Proxy, Shelly, CoAP - issues

Hello all, Wasted few hours of my time on this but just can not get it right. Using more and more Shelly devices in house and to setup I use their application on my phone. It uses CoAP multicast protocol on IP 224.0.1.187 and port 5683 to communicate in network, receive commands and send status. I h...

Re: BCP PPTP bridge DHCP problem

I have chosen a different approach. First I setup classic PPTP connection and then EoIP tunnel over it. And bridge with my entire LAN on one side and bridge only specific ports on another side. Laptop in on of the specific ports now successfuly gets IP over DHCP set on the bridge on another side.

BCP PPTP bridge DHCP problem

I have setup BCP PPTP tunnel between my MT at home and MT at work (both fw 6.38.1). http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:BCP_bridging_(PPP_tunnel_bridging) Everything is setup exactly as in tutorial and client connects to server perfectly. On my client side on one of the ports I have my laptop conne...

Re: v6.37.3 [current] is released!

My hAP (RB951Ui-2nD) seems to be bricked after upgrade to 6.37.3 firmware. What I did was only download firmware first. When I got home from work I selected System->Reboot. As soon as it rebooted all the LAN LED turned off and not a single will not light up. Connecting to another Mikrotik I can see ...

Re: Error while opening specific HTTPS page

I do not have PPPOE connection but I will try the mange command anyway. Will report back once I get home and test.

Re: EoIP for IPTV with STB at remote location

I have already figured it out with a help from a friend. I use PPTP to connect to other MikroTik and then over this EoIP is working. And it works great. I didn't know this works with UPnP/DLNA also. I will try it out.

Re: Error while opening specific HTTPS page

Sadly this doesn't solve my problem with not opening specific HTTPS page. Any way to debug it?

Re: Error while opening specific HTTPS page

Done. I used this command to set IP to bridge and rebooted my Mikrotik: /ip address add address=192.168.8.1/24 comment="default configuration" interface=Bridge-LAN network=192.168.8.0 Currently I am at work so when I get home I will test this configuration. Is this suggestion about setting...

Re: Error while opening specific HTTPS page

No. Nothing. I did have hotspot enabled but it didn't work as I hoped it will so I restored setting that I save prior to hotspot initialization. I also made a Virtual AP for guest users but again found it not working properly so I removed it. Sometime in between the opening of specific https pages s...

Re: EoIP only "works" when tunnel-id = 0

Got it working. Now using PPTP to connect two Mikrotiks and then EoIP using their LAN IP addresses.

I also downgraded to 6.27 and when it was working upgraded back to latest 6.29.1.

Re: EoIP only "works" when tunnel-id = 0

There is only one tunnel on each Mikrotik. The tunnel-id must be 0 in order for them to see each other. Anything else will keep the tunnel down.

EoIP only "works" when tunnel-id = 0

I have an EoIP tunnel between home and work Mikrotik routers. I setup static IP for both EoIP interfaces with IP from 192.168.100.0 network. When I use tunnel-id for example 1 the EoIP tunnel will not connect. When I use 0 they will connect fine and I can ping each other EoIP tunnel interfaces. Also...

EoIP for IPTV with STB at remote location

I have two Mikrotik routers. One at home and one at other location. Both have static IP address assigned by my ISP. At remote location I do not have IPTV subscription. Only at primary location. I wish to use my home STB at remote location. I have setup EoIP tunnel between the two Mikrotik devices an...

Connect two routers

I have two static WAN IP assigned from my ISP. One I use on Asus router with TomatoUSB and to wich all the intranet devices are connected. I now added a brand new Mikrotik router (hAP Lite) that I use mainly for network learning and as igmp proxy for IPTV. What I want to do now is to connect the Mik...
