ping switch script

How would one script incoming ping to enable an rdp rule to a specified machine. I have currently scripted enabling rule for RDP to one machine.

Proxy ... where is web proxy

All the docs on web proxy differ a bit from proxy on the routerboard 500. Is there a seperate doc on the 500? Having trouble getting some sites to come across in complete form , for example http://www.yellowpages.com, alot of the graphic links are broken. Rule added host=www.yellowpages.com action=d...

I have and the responce was reinstall rc2 from scratch, which I cannot do. Hopefuly rc3 will fix this. :roll:

Notice wireless drops when client tries to connect, while in winbox as client trys to authenticate, wireless changes from 802.11b to 802.11a.
When change happens, it's impossible to change it back. Reboot fixes until clients try to connect.

RC2 wireless setting not sticking

After upgrading to rc2 from rc1, wireless band frequency will not keep its 2.4 b/g setting, jumps back to 5mhz and disables. you can also add a static internal entry in dns of MT router and add have MT dhcp point all internal clients to router for dns. Works great here. :wink:
