Re: Traffic Flow ( netflow) Autonomous system information

Is it really true, that after more then 10 years of the feature request(s) this "feature" is not already implemented? Or am I doing something wrong at the configuration? I get adresses and protocols.... but no AS information... If routos is not able to deliver this information, do you have...

Re: CRS317-1G-16S+RM - Hardware specification

Hi normis, if we place this unit into a street cabinet together with a DSLAM, one PSU with -48VDC and one with 230VAC would be fine. At our CO we have -48VDC and 230VAC both redundant. I would prefer modular PSUs. So just give the unit two free slots and variants of PSUs, so we have ONE hardware tha...

Re: CRS317-1G-16S+RM - Hardware specification

Hi, I need to use the CRS317-1G-16S+RM in a TELCO environment (-48VDC). What about the "internal voltage" behind the two bulit in AC power supplies? 24VDC, 48VDC? Is it possible to replace the internal AC power supply with eg. https://shop.meconet.de/Stromversorgung/bis-48-Volt/DC-Umruests...

Re: HA dude server

Just set your internet-link (and the hops to your monitored devices) as parent of your clients.
So you just get a notification of the device change from your parent.

user-led: any documentation?

I have seen in the changelog there is a new feature called "user-led".
But I couldn´t find any documentation about this, can anyone tell me what it does exactly?
Is it possible to align an antenna via the led?

Re: Device "Settings" hangs/freezes

The same thing sometimes happens here. I suggested it is the guest system of the virtual host which runs out of power (7 W2k3 Servers incl. Dude 2.2 on a proliant server @3GHz 4GB RAM).
Next week the dude runs on a dedicated server again, maybe the problem is gone away....

No, service manager says timeout and the logfiles of the dude do not have new entries.....

Now I installed the dude on a new machine and in the next days I reconfigure the dude from scratch.

And the I will make a backup :)

Dude is not starting anymore

Since the last reboot of our NMS-Server (Windows 2003 R2 standard) the dude (R2.0) doesn´t start as service anymore. Neither the event-log of windows nor the dude logfile shows any usable information (event-log: service not started, dude logifle: no new entry).

Any idea?

REQUEST: EoIP - hostnames as remote-address

Hi, Is there a chance to define a hostname as remote address of an EoIP-Tunnel? I am thinking about an EoIP-Tunnel between two sites, on of them has an dynamic (dial-in) ip-address which could be resolved via dyndns. But every time i try to set the hostname as remote address, an error like "ip ...

CPE-Antenna alignment via customer / Application available?

We are planning to equip our new cpes with routerboards. Is there a possibility to allow the customer to allign the antenna without giving him access to the whole router? Maybe with an integrated webserver or with a client application via snmp?

Or do I have to write my own application?

I´ve reconfigured one router from scratch (only AP, EoIP-tunnel and a bridge) and it worked fine.
I assume that the something went wrong with the upgrade from 2.8.28 to 2.9rcX.

Now I have to reconfigure all our routers outside from scratch :?
Anyway, then it works.

Thank you for your tips!

[SOLVED] PPPoE over EoIP: strange phenomenon

My Setup: WirelessClient--MT(AP)--<Ethernet>--MT(AC) Both 2.9.5, EoIP-Tunnel between the 2 MTs AP-interface is in the same Bridge-Group as the EoIP-tunnel on the other side (AC) EoIP-tunnel is in a bridge-group.
