Re: Why Mikrotik decided to get rid of their Power Lan devices

Do you mean powerline devices ( ethernet over electrical circuits) or do you mean wifi devices capable of POE powering other devices?? IF the former, then these are apparently good --> https://www.devolo.global/products Yeah I mean "ethernet over electrical circuits". Do you have more inf...

Why Mikrotik decided to get rid of their Power Lan devices

Hi there, I have use case for this, and so far I'm using https://mikrotik.com/product/RB931-2nD#fndtn-specifications two access points. Wondering are there any replacement for them? I noticed there was Power over LAN gigabyte power plug, but it is discontinued. Do you know why? Isn't it reliable? Do...

Re: Removing (deleting) issued certificates

I had something similar, but after I went through and revoked all the client certificates and the server certificate, then removed the CA, my list of certificates was empty. I wasn't watching each stage, so I'm not sure if it was removing the CA or removing the server cert that did the trick. When ...

Re: Simple question about bridge vlan trunk ports [SOLVED]

Sorry, but I'm not sure you've got the right idea. At the moment ether3 is also part of the bridge and it is highlighted in the first line of the bridge, where vlan 2,3,4,5 is working, so I marked that port as tagged and everything is fine, but I don't want this because this configuration makes all ...

Re: save running-config to another location

@mkx I already do that, saving the config to disk1 but the running config lives on the flash disk, so I cannot use big configs with many lines which is mine because of these blacklists.

Is there any way to use USB or SD card to store the running config, which the router load at the startup?
