I followed instructions given here but the page keeps refreshing. I checked protocol to PAP and also added by host server to walled garden but still the problem persists. What could be the problem? thanks in advance.
Have you checked this wiki article? http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Ethereal/Wireshark I don't know if that will help in any way, just thought I should mention it. Hi,Thanks for replying. Yes I checked this article. This article mentions using the /tool sniffer which only captures traffic which passe...
Hi, I am streaming /interface wireless sniffer traffic to my streaming server. I want to check status of wifi tags in regular interval. I can see packets sent by these tags in the sniffed packet section of /interface wireless sniffer packets but I cannot see them on streaming server running wireshar...
I have set up server on ethernet network. I can access the website using ip address from wireless network. I can nslookup the name i gave to it from wireless network I can also ping to the name i gave to the website on server ,But when i put name into browser it returns google server not found. I ha...
I've never seen the behavior you describe. For me, it's always overwritten the file with each new capture. Sir, I have written script as /interface wireless sniffer sniff wlan1 and put this into scheduler which runs for 1 min after that the next scheduler runs script to save file. Is the problem co...
I am using sniffer to sniff packets for a short duration say 20sec . I want to overwrite the file with new sniffed packets . Right now while saving packets both old and new packets are written into the file. After 20 sec the sniffer restarts sniffing so I want to write only packets sniffed in that d...
I want devices connected to an access point to be able to access server located on ethernet network. What should i do , i read that we cannot bridge wireless and ethernet connections so how can i do that.

I want to block a range of ip and redirect to my website when request comes for any other website. I reffered this video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=c-mk6rlo7KQ and set up proxy server and in access i mentioned to redirect to my website if source is not my servers ip.I have also put dstnat rule to...
I also want any device in .5.x network to go to my server at 192.168.4.253 irrespective of what website they want to go to. PS how does the router use these tables does it use all the rules and then send packets or does it sends the packet once it finds a rule correct. I know. The three rules I gav...
Whoops - I forgot to specify the chain in my rules. You do not need a rule for 192.168.5.0/24 These rules are the only ones you need. Rule 1: standard, everyday old-fashioned "NAT when going out to the Internet" rule Rule 2: "hairpin rule" - if redirecting from 192.168.4.X hosts...
okay - first thing - packet marks are usually not used for NAT... There are some ways you might do packet marking to drive NAT, but that's pretty rare, and not necessary for what you want to do. I'm going to assume that the http site you're redirecting to is still hosted on 192.168.4.253...... so h...

I'd say to do this on your dstnat rule: protocol=tcp dst-port=80 src-address= [!] ip.of.server action=dst-nat to-address=ip.of.server (check the ! box, which means "not") So in English, this rule says: For all TCP packets whose destination port is 80 and whose source IP is not the special...
change the netmap action to dstnat - dstnat is stateful and will automatically translate the replies from your webserver. netmap will not do this, and that's why things are broken. I have a server on 192.168.4.253 I want redirect all those connected to 192.168.4.0 and 192.168.5.0 network to this ad...

If I understood it correctly... Your WLAN IP is 192.168.4.1 and your DHCP pool is 192.168.4.2-192.168.4.254. You want to redirect traffic coming from your LAN to a host that is located in the same subnet(192.168.4.244). I suggest you to connect your server to a different interface and subnet (ex: s...
I have configured wlan at address 192.168.4.1 and it can dhcp addresses through 192.168. 4.2/254 . I want to send all the traffic to 192.168.4.244 irrespective of the destination address. So I have put these addresses in address list , marked the packets and also put rules to dst-nat all the packets...
