In the last couple of days I have tried to get the CHR ARM64 going on the Netcup VPS 1000 ARM G11 VIE iv https://www.netcup.eu/bestellen/produkt.php?produkt=3712 without success. I have tried with Raw disk image (arm64) 7.15.2 & 7.16beta3 without success. Tried installing it from within previous...

Loging NAT connections with all ip/port pairs ?

Re: Infringement Torrents

One way which I have done is to log all connections to another server so you have internal-external ip/port pairs + time. with that you could find where specific user(ip) was connected at some point in time. Logs do grow pretty large but you can compress them daily/weekly and hdd space is cheap thes...

Re: Advice / How to log all user connections in a NAT scenar

If I only wanted http then it would not be a problem but I would like to see all connections. I was looking at netflow but it does statistical numbers, which ip was accessed and how many bytes were transfered but I would like to know the exact time of each connection and I don't see that in netflow ...

Re: Advice / How to log all user connections in a NAT scenar

Well the point is to get all those connections logged somewhere, it doesn't have to be a local log, remote log could accept a very large number of records. Those records could be imported into some database to easy reporting. Again, I was wondering if anybody has done something like that and in what...

RB411 Ethernet PHY chip (KSZ8041) source for small quantity?

I have one RB411 with busted PHY KSZ8041NL, everywhere I look for ordering one or two of them the shipping to Croatia is like 30$ or more so I'm asking if anybody knows where to get one of these with normal shipping (few $) or some other arrangement. Access to an smd rework station is not a problem ...

Advice / How to log all user connections in a NAT scenario ?

If somebody has done or is thinking of doing something similar any advice is welcome. In a typical setup where multiple users are behind NAT and internet access is over one external ip address how to solve logging of all connections made by users through NAT (internal ip:port + external ip:port + ti...

Download address list from external web or ftp site ?

Is it possible and how to download & import an address list from an external source ? Some other system(web form or similar) would be used for managing the list but I need a way to transfer that list into a ROS so that it can be used. The prepared file can be downloaded but can a script parse so...

OSPF between multiple backbone areas possible ?

I'm in a situation with 4 separate networks, each with it's own subnet and multiple routers running ospf with independent backbone area. Now the idea is to enable routing accross all networks but I have limited experience with ospf on ros. A-----B-----C |------D-----| How to configure this with ospf...

After changing the path to the disk file from the web interface it shows a different error: Device ide0:0 is configured as the virtual disk file esxsas1:Untitled.vmdk. This virtual disk was created as a SCSI disk with SCSI geometries. It cannot be used as an IDE disk. My question is, how to create a...

Simple telephony how to ?

Hy all, for a long time I was trying to do one simple thing: One HFC ISDN card + one h323 voip phone connected to mikrotik. One DID external number routed to that phone and all calls from the h323 phone routed to pstn through that ISDN and whatever I tried I couldn't get it to work so now I'm asking...
