No portable cell phone here in the US puts out 2watts. If it did, your battery would be dead in no time.

Max output is usually 300mw, look at the manuals for various phones.

Only the old analog "bag" phones had a PEP output of 3watts.

A good guideline to go by.
I wouldn't worry about the flea power coming from the devices. Like the other guy said, your cell phone is putting out 200mw right at your head.

Why does the TCP bandwidth test never work for me? I can get the UDP to work in both directions. I can't seem to figure this out. It just says disconnected.

I am not using a Mikrotik for the ap, only for the client, so is WDS still going to work for me? I don't think so.

How do most of you configure your CPE equipment.
I want the Mikrotik box to be a CPE, and act just like a Seneao CB3 ethernet bridge.

Wireless client ethernet bridge?

I have a Atheros wireless card in station mode, acting as a client, connected to a AP. Also in the mikrotik box I have a ethernet card that I would like to connect to the customers local network. How can I bridge the wireless card to the ethernet card? The manual said that you can't do this in stati...
