That's true, diversity system will be helpfull in any point to multipoint topology. It is definetly needed in mikrotik since mikrotik is used for hotspot application (indoor environment) and wisp (PTMP).

I have 2 prism card as Ap Bridges and 1 ethernet. I have created a bridge interface. I bridge all 3 interface into one bridge interface.
when I monitor the root port is Unknown.
And wireless client couldn't ping to the mikrotik router.

For Atheros Chipset, there are five option of antenna selection.
Both; A only; B only; A-tx B-rx; A-rx B-tx.
if i select A-tx B-rx, will both antennas work simultaneously?
Or they switch between each other.

That would be nice if the Mac Address on Virtual AP can be changed.
