srcnat without Arp resolution  [SOLVED]

Thu Jun 06, 2019 4:02 am

Hello everyone, is it possible to do a srcnat without Arp resolution? I have a CCR that is connected to another edge CCR with BGP. previously the first one did the BGP and solved the srcnat without having the interfaces declared in its WAN. now when separating the servers this does not work. the query is, it worked by something fortuitous or something must be done to avoid declaring for example the 254 host of a public subnet to apply it? is it a good practice to make a srcnat of several private networks to a public network to reuse them and not leave a whole network with a single public IP? Thanks in advance!

The solution was to use arp-proxy in the WAN interface. regards!
