Question: HAP AC^2, Wan speed less than 100Mbps on 500Mbps internet line.  [SOLVED]

Sat Aug 18, 2018 1:06 pm

Wan on Ether 1 and PC on Ether 2.
Link rate status of both interfaces are at 1Gbps with Full Duplex checked.
The ISP guarantees 500Mbps speed.

Speedtest.net and ISP-provided Speed test results are under 100Mbps.

HAP AC^2 has been set automatically.

What can i try or test to solve this issue?

Thank you.

Use system->resources->CPU and tools->profile to monitor CPU usage while running the speed test. Is any of the cores maxed out?
If yes: find out what process causes the high cpu usage, try fasttrack, etc.
If not: Check cables and interface speed. Are all the involved interfaces running at gigabit speed?

Figured it out.
It was ISP-side problem.

Direct conection to ISP's fiber modem results same. :(

Atually, Very satisfied with HAP AC2 perfornance.

Much appreciated for the kind answers! @msatter @whatever
