Dear Mikrotik Team,

Please review a possibility to define a credentials profiles for Discovery:
1. SNMP profiles - multiple SNMP profiles may be assigned for Discovery.
2. Password profiles - multiple Password profiles may be assigned for Discovery.

If no SNMP or Password profile defined during Discovery, a default one for the map should be used.

Has there been any more information on the feature of having a default password for a map or at least being able to set the username and password on a group of ROS that is selected in device list

Thanks, this is good info to have/share- however to be clear this above is not what the orginal poster was look for in terms of a Feature Request for DUDE. (im also looking for mikrotik to add the ability for DUDE auto discovery to use pre-defined Credentials).

Im a bit confused as to how mikrotik/DUDE can have an auto discovery feature but not alow the user to set the credentials that auto-discovery should make use of (ie Winbox credentials to use for auto-discovery) - even if the credentials are only used for manual / 1 time discoveries (ie so DUDE does not have to securely store said use credentials).

So since 2018 there was no reaction to adding this feature? Then Dude is just useless for any secure network that only allows logins from RADIUS or that has randomised admin passwords, or so on. Or has there been a solution to this so far that hasn't been shared to this thread?
