usermanager and different login pages for hotspot clients

Sun Jan 13, 2008 1:29 am

Hi,
I use MT RouterOs at my base site and i have hotspot running on an ethernet interface. also, i use user-manager to authenticate my hotspot clients.

Recently i acquired a RB133 which i put on my mast outdoors.

I have created a virtual wireless AP on wlan1 and a Vlan on ether1 on the RB133. These two i put on a bridge (bridge1).
On the RouterOs i created a vlan on an ethernet interface(not the interface running hotspot previously). This vlan interface has the same vlanid and name as the vlan interface on the RB133. On this vlan interface on the RouterOs, i created a hotspot and the gateway for the hotspot is the vlan interface ,and a profile that shows a different login page from the previously running hotspot.

I have also added another subscriber to usermanager from tools user-man customer add.

But i dont know which router address to add in the usermanager and also i dont know if i should add another radius server on the RouterOs using /radius add service=hotspot address=x.x.x.x secret=123456.

Efosa

The whole exercise is all about allowing the clients to connect to different virtual AP's and authenticating them using a single RouterOs and also not allowing tickets generated by subscriber A be used on login page of subscriber B!!!
