Station deauths - trying to connect to another site.

Thu Jan 17, 2008 3:13 am

I have a really weird problem.... I have a cuple of stations that have -66 / -70 sig and 80/95 CCQ connected to a tower using 912.

An ajacent site is on 907 and for some reason, these stations disaccociate with 912 and try to connect to the 907 and drops the 912.

Why would it do this? How can I stop it. I have even tried to stop the station from scanning by only allowing it to listen to 912 in the default scanlist.

User different SSID's or work it out in the ACL.

If anyone knows how to lock a CPE to BSSID please let me know as I've had this same problem.

You have to place your BSSID on the client's "connect list" table, or put the mac of your client on the "access list" of your ap and deselect the "default forward" option.

How do you access the "connect list"?
