Hello,
I'm using an external RADIUS server for the DHCP service from a MIKROTIK router. Everything is fine when the MIKROTIK has an address class with a prefix of 24 on the ethernet interface. For example, the router and DHCP address is 192.168.1.1/24. However, when I have 192.168.1.1/30 set on the ethernet interface, the DHCP should assign 1 IP address 192.168.1.2. The client receives this address from Mikrotik but without RADIUS authorization. No query is sent to the FREERADIUS server. I get the impression that RADIUS + DHCP authorization doesn't work for address classes smaller than /24. Is this an error or is it supposed to be like that?
Regards
