May be I found something weird behaviour of system /users password change window in WEBFIG.
I have 3 users, only for admin purposes.
First is admin (I know this name should be eliminated, but for an isolated labtest environment is ok now)
Second user is test.
Third is vtest.

I would change the second user' password, called "test" user.
The password change window opens correctly, but the first (called "admin") user's password has been changed. The 2nd user password did not change.
I have not changed password since ages, so I can't confirm which version brings this "issue".

I tested with MS Edge (latest) and Mozilla Firefox (Latest)
Router OS 7.12.1
HW: CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+

Anyone can confirm this?

Hello, I also think about it, but I would confirm the behaviour first with someone else, rather than just bump to the support team.

I have the same problem. I enter with my password , all work fine, I know my password.
Then i notices that I´am on a testing firmware. Before update to a stable firmware I create another user admin called "forsecurity" with anoter new pass, I write on notepadd and then copy paste. Log out and log in to confirm that all is fine.
(I'm an old technician who takes his time to do these things.)

Then I udpdate to 7.16 , on the reboot I notice that in winbox, the version is 7.12.1 (and not the 7.16) and the password don´t work any more, well all going to be fine, i have another user with admin privileges, but...... the new user/password don´t work.

Now I can´t enter to the router
I imagine that I have to reboot it, and do all the config again, i have VPN and other thing there.
