Mikrotik SSTP-tunnel to SoftEther Server

Tue Oct 04, 2016 8:04 am

I am trying to configure a SSTP server on a linux machine using SoftEther to which I intend to connect a lot of mikrotik routers so that I can manage them remotely. I installed the server and tried to configure DHCP for my hosts but I hit a snag , the clientid and hostname that the mikrotik sends in the DHCP discovery is the virtual mac address generated for the SSTP-client interface , and the hostname is the IP address on the wan interface, I tried to change the hostname to the serial number by entering the value in the dhcp-client options but it doesn't work ( the values in the dhcp discovery are still the same). My question is how can I configure my dhcp server and mikrotik so that I can provide the IP addresses based on the serial number of the device or the mac address of the wan interface.
