A simple question.. Where is the NV2 on the new AX Units? We really have a lot of older clients and to switch to AX on the whole we are forced to change our backbone first? Have I overlooked something?
Cheers
Jimmy
Bit harsh, there are two paths you can walk in this use case:Not only that, but the new capsman is not compatible with the older one. So if you have older devices and you buy a new one, you are SOL.
Older devices use the MikroTik driver, while AX devices use the manufacturer driver. Hence nv2 is no longer supported.Perhaps Mikrotik could consider this and at least leave a backwards compatibility path?
I understand AX does not allow for NV2, but the radios does also support AC and N and i would think it possible to port NV2 at least for these standards that is compattable with NV2.
