I have two RB5009UPr+S+ routers installed side by side in the same rack, using the K-79 rackmount kit. Despite being placed at the same level and not stacked, their board temperatures vary by about 10 degrees Celsius, which is quite frustrating.
Currently, the cooler unit has the following values:
While the hotter one:/system/health/print
Columns: NAME, VALUE, TYPE
# NAME VALUE TYPE
0 poe-out-consumption 23.9 W
1 cpu-temperature 51 C
2 board-temperature1 47 C
3 jack-voltage 49.2 V
The rack is completely empty at the moment. There are only patch panels 3U under the units. These devices will be used for HA setup and at the moment their configurations are mirrored./system/health/print
Columns: NAME, VALUE, TYPE
# NAME VALUE TYPE
0 poe-out-consumption 20.7 W
1 cpu-temperature 50 C
2 board-temperature1 60 C
3 jack-voltage 49.3 V
What can be the reason for this huge constant difference?
Regards!
