how to configure burst?

how to configure burst for my client in pppoe server?

u have to configure burst in a radius server..

try using mikrotik's dictionary http://www.mikrotik.com/documentation// ... y.mikrotik

try using mikrotik's dictionary http://www.mikrotik.com/documentation// ... y.mikrotik
and you can also configure it using ROS local Profiles

Burst should work fine at 3.7 version.

Hi ;
i need to use the bust to let the users reach reasonable speed during the first min of download or browsing to let them get what they need and then the server reduce the speed so they not affect other users .
i tried doing this many times but i didn't succed , i am using 3.6 now .
here is a photo attached showing what i did today to test after i read this article .
is it correct ?

ahmedsaffar76, you are only bursting for 2seconds. That is too small a time to see any real boost. Increase the 2sec to 10sec or more to see it's effect.

thanks for your reply .
this is just to check if the speeds are correct and each one on place .
i tried this before with 60 sec , as i remember it didn't work .
so , here need to ask if i put time like 30 sec .
will it work correctly ?

Yes, burst should work with 30 seconds and 60 seconds too.
