First, a big Thank You to Mikrotik. I didn't like the app at first (love the classic v3). But after making a few adjustments, working in it, it's nice & getting familiar. I like that it's now a native app vs using wine on a Mac.
I also agree with others about tabs. It would be ideal if there was an option to add it to the current open window. I understand clicking the 'pop-out window' icon in the drop down menu opens a new window but, keeping it in one window would be easier/cleaner with tabs. A suggestion would be when using the drop-down menu, to make that pop-out window icon to pop-out to a tab instead of a new window.
Below is what I've noticed:
- MacBook Air M3 Mousepad/touchpad/scroll pad isn't scrolling left or right, only up & down. Didn't test the desktop, assuming it's the same.
- Resource Panel (bottom): The time is displayed but the 'title' is missing after the date. Screenshot attached.
- Zoom level: 84% - looks great. Tried 100, 92, 84 & 75. 84% looks best in my opinion. Didn't have any issues with icons, text, or layout in either of the zoom levels.
- Log: Starts at the top instead of the bottom to view by most recent events. Hovering over the entries doesn't provide the full context anymore.
- Windows: The windows tab on left menu is missing when multiple windows are open. Hard to tell that there's a window buried behind another window.
- Actions: Any plans for a toggle to hide the sidebar on the right?
- Columns & headers: Text is too light & there are no column separators visible. The classic v3 theme is clearly visible in all aspects (text, columns & rows).
- Rules Comments: Anyway to get the text to be a little darker/more visible? Also, the comments are missing the triple ";;;" prefixes.
- Firewall:
-- Raw (ip -> firewall -> Raw): Rules numbering only gets to 9. The rest are blank. Screenshot attached.
-- Address lists (ip -> firewall -> address-lists): Uses up ram & cpu reading the lists. It takes a while to fully load the lists. Going into another menu, ex: Raw, filter, NAT, speeds up the reading/loading process quite a bit. I have 65k addresses. Seems to do this after 35k-40k addresses. A small hEX takes roughly 20 seconds to fully populate the lists. And it's laggy scrolling through it while the memory is decreasing at the same time. The RB5009 takes about 7-10 sec. Also a bit sluggish to scroll through it & memory decreases as well. While having the address-list visible, open other windows, like the log for example, is sluggish as well while scrolling through it. Seems there's a memory leak while the address list window is kept open. Not sure if this is a bug or not as Winbox version 3 does the same thing.

Comment issue where there's indentation/tabbed prior to comment.
- ip/firewall/address-lists
- ip/dhcp-server/leases
Also there's another log issue not color coding warnings & errors.
