Problems with CAPsMAN

Sun Oct 13, 2024 4:01 pm

"Hi everyone,

At home, I have an RB3011 router, which serves as the main router managing my entire network. I've set up a CAPsMAN server on it, and I have 3 additional Wi-Fi 4 CAPs connected.

Yesterday, I bought an L41G-2axD, a Wi-Fi 6 router, but I'm having trouble with it. The router doesn't seem to apply the Wi-Fi configuration, and I’m not sure why.

When I connect other Wi-Fi 4 or Wi-Fi 5 CAPs, CAPsMAN works fine, but it doesn’t seem to work with the Wi-Fi 6 router.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?"

Hello ! 8)
I also have problems with connection

I have the following equipment, which has been configured for a long time and works:
- RB3011UiAS (arm) - core and controller capsman
- RB952Ui-5ac2nD - cap
- RBD52G-5HacD2HnD - cap
--
But there is new equipment:
- C53UiG+5HPaxD2HPaxD (hAP ax3 - arm64)
- cAPGi-5HaxD2HaxD (cAP ax - arm64)

You need to add new equipment to the network and also configure the capsman to work with RB3011UiAS (arm).
All equipment is updated to firmware 7.16.1
The wireless package is installed in the RB3011 router, which is configured as a capsman controller. Only old access points work.
If you install the wifi-qcom (wifi-qcom-ac) package, the old points are not connected during configuration, and the new ones also cannot be connected to the capsman.

Question!
1 - Is it possible to configure the equipment from wireless packages, to add new points ( ax ) to the network?
2- Is it possible to set up and combine old and new equipment in capsman with the new wifi-qcom package?
